Review : Maybelline New York Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara

Vibrating mascara seems like the in thing for now, however it is too expensive (Eg, Lancome and Estee Lauder) to buy just to try. So when I first head Maybelline New York is launching their first vibrating mascara, I am looking forward to try!

Not long after that Loreal Malaysia sent me the new Maybelline New York Pulse Perfection Mascara to me for review purposes.

According to their press kit, this Pulse Perfection promises to deliver 7 synchronized actions at once:

-Luscious Thickness
Luxurious Length
-Smooth Separation
-Intensive Color
-Shapely Curve
-Healthy Luster
-Perfect Clump-Free Alignment

And this is the perfect lash that all women look forward to own!

Loreal took 5 years of research, test, interviews and development before they came out with this mascara that came with a patented brush and motor.

The powerful motor was said to generates 7,000 vibrations per minute. And this vibrating mascara vibrates horizontally which mimicking women's manual application and extending it to a maximum potential.

Note : The motor battery of this vibrating mascara comes off easily and is recyclable as to continue the commitment of Maybelline New York to create environmentally friendly product.

This is their polymeric patented brush

Come in black color - you can see the mascara formula is a bit wet.

When I first used this mascara, I did not curl my lashes thinking the vibrating mascara would curl up my lashes. However the result is although the lashes is separates and appear longer, the lashes looked straight.

In this picture I curled up my eyelashes first before I applied the vibrating mascara. As I mentioned the mascara is a bit wet, hence when I laid the brushes on my lashes it looked like going to get clump together. So I found out a method that in order not to let the wet lashes to clump together, I put the vibrating brushes on my lashes and move forward and backward until the mascara on the lashes are dried.

It is quite simple to apply once I master the skill in controlling the vibrating brush and 2 coats of mascara is sufficient. Do note that while using the vibrating mascara no zig zag application of mascara is needed.

Review : I could see is that the lashes seems more define and longer. And lower lash and other inner lashes are easier to apply using this as I just lay the vibrating brush on the them without needing to comb them. And out of the 7 mentioned results that Loreal promises, I could only see a maximum of 6 results (length, separation, intensity, shape, healthy appearance and no clumps) with the exception that I could not see my lashes appear thicker than before. And the mascara lasts me for the whole day without clumping and smudging. Do note that you gotta be careful when picking up the (wet formula) mascara before applying on the lashes, or else will stain the eyes area.

Overall I think this is a good buy as this mascara is priced at half of other vibrating mascara in the market plus it's really fun to use and time saving too! Eyelashes appear longer and more separated within minutes.

This Maybelline New York Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara is priced at RM59.90 exclusively at all Watsons, Guardians, Sasa & Caring pharmacies.

Note : The above mascara was sent by Loreal Malaysia to me for review purposes in this blog.
