Review & Giveaway : AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain a non-medicated solution to period pain!

There are few days in a month that we girls just feel so tired, uncomfortable and just want to sleep and sleep.

Yes I'm taking about our monthly "aunty visit" i.e period/menstrual.

Some of us here are the unlucky ones who experience this menstrual pain every month, I'm sure you can relate to this...because it's one of the most torturing days of the month....

Painful menstrual periods are periods in which a woman has crampy lower abdominal pain, sharp or aching pain that comes and goes, or possibly back pain. Sometimes, the pain makes it difficult for us to perform normal household, to do our job for a few days during each menstrual cycle and all we want is to rest and sleep but then back to reality we still have work to do.

And in order to feel better, some of us choose to take medicine, use hot water bag or drink warm water. Personally I avoid taking pill because I read before that once we take a medicine i.e drug it says in our body system for 90 days. Hence I avoid taking medicine unless it is really necessary.

They understand that woman desire for warmth when feeling cold or to soothe aches and pains.

Hot water bag is nice to use but it only keeps your tummy warm for a good few hours. And I also find it troublesome/inconveniences to use it because I need to drag myself out of bed to boil some hot water to put in the bag and I can only use when I'm lying down on bed.

I was introduced to AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain; the first non-medicated self heating patch to reduce symptoms of menstrual pain in the market I think because I haven't seen anything like this before.  Thety u desire for warmth when feeling cold or to soothe aches and pains.

So what's the safe temperature of AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain and how long does it last?
The heating patch will provide a stable and safe temperature (40°C) up to 8 hours to keep our abdomen warm.

In each box of AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain it comes with 2 patch that was sealed individually with aluminium foil. The air-activated heat patch will generate warming sensation by itself once it is opened & exposed to the air.

So how this AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch help for Menstrual Pain?
It provides heat therapy which can improve blood circulation and reduce menstrual pain symptoms.

This heat therapy targets pain at its root cause as it helps improve blood circulation. By warming the affected area, the volume of blood flow increases and it produces vasodilation (i.e widening of blood vessels as a result from relaxation of smooth muscle cells within the vessel walls) which increases the supply of oxygen and removal of metabolic waste, leading to better healing and reduced pain.

Ingredients: Iron Powder, Water, Activated Carbon, vermiculite, salt, super absorbent polymer

AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain patch size is as big as my palm (14cm(H) x 7cm(W).

There is an adhesive side on one side of the heat patch for us to stick it on our skin.  Slowly peel off the heat patch before stick on the skin i.e abdominal area. Of course you can use it in other area like your back but then the shape of the patch itself it's for tummy and that's the place you feel uncomfortable most during period.

To apply this AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain, you have to make sure your skin is dry and clean over the place of application.

Avoid putting on lotion or cream on the skin before sticking the patch because it will make the adhesive not so sticky. Ah remember each patch is for one time use only because the heat can only can lasts for 8 hours

My review of AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain

I applied the patch on my tummy where I feel painful/uncomfortable due to my period.  It is very easy to use and stick on my skin. However I do notice that it takes a while for me to feel the warm sensation. The warm sensation really last the whole duration of 8 hours when I wear it.

Compare to hot water bag which is warmer than this when you first put in on your tummy, this heat patch gives lesser warming sensation which is gentler to our skin.

However remember to stop using immediately if it feels too hot to avoid low temperature skin burn.

Why I like using AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain
Because it is convenient, effective, safe and non-medicinal.

Ah so easy to use lah ... I can just keep this patch in my handbag and my drawer . just just peel and stick on! It's odourless and slim too which means I can apply under my clothes and can be used anytime/anywhere - even during office working hours without anyone noticing it.

Gentle reminder, do remove the product slowly to avoid skin exfoliation caused by low-temperature burns. Be especially careful concerning low temperature burns when using on sensitive part of the body such as buttoc
