Domino’s Football Final Viewing Party

Last Sunday was the final match of World Cup match between Germany and Argentina. I was glad to be invited as one of the 100 lucky viewers to be at the Domino’s Football Final Viewing Party at Tropicana Golf & Country Club. Football fans at the viewing party consisted of the five 1st Runner Ups winners of the Domino’s Kickoff Online Contest, which went on from April 28 to June 1 earlier this year, and 20 of each winner’s closest friends and families. So nice right because Domino’s basically rent a ballroom for this party!

From my jersey, you can tell what team I’m supporting right? I purposely went to hunt for this jersey the night before at the Uptown Danau Kota Night market! Was happy to be able to get this last piece of Argentina’s jersey so that I can wear on the finale night!

The 2 super cool MC in referee attire and whistle! They are super funny, good job!

Hasfahlinda Hassan, Senior Marketing Manager of Domino’s Pizza Malaysia and Singapore, said, “Football is a game that brings Malaysians together. We are pleased to share our passion for the beautiful game with our customers at this uniquely Domino’s event in conjunction with the biggest football tournament in the world. The aim of this viewing party is to reward our loyal customers for their strong support of our ‘More Pizza, More Football’ campaign. It is also a way for us to connect with them at another level through the world’s most popular game. This has been an incredible football season for everyone, and we are glad to have been able to celebrate it with our fans.”

While waiting for the match to start, Domino’s Pizza organized lots off football related activities to keep us busy. Got to say they are really good in organising those games because I was busy going around to play some games to join the fun and win some prizes!

This game is where participant need to eat pizza while juggling the soccer ball. Not easy ah!

There are a few FIFA EA games station and it’s always full! I guess guys would never get bored with video games!

Hit the Goalie game

Spotted Bro Framestone and his wife competing each other at table soccer

This is one of the most fun activities... Human Foosball...

There are even games for the kids...finger football!

Face painting booth! I realized no matter young or old, everyone want to paint their face with their favourite team to show support.

I went to join fold Domino’s Pizza box contest... Where the faster person wins the limited edition Bola Bears. (I want lah!!) .wahahaha look how serious my expression ah... Too bad I’m too slow and after this I confirm cannot work in pizza shop already after this cos this 2 persons besides me are so fast & furious!

There are even Instagram photo contest Bear-A-Selfie’ at the event where we need to snapp selfies with their Popobe® Bola Bears and tagged #BolaBears. And the person with the highest number of votes walk back with an iPad Mini... How generous is that!

And this lucky guy John just walked away with a brand new Ipad mini!

Did I tell you we have this super comfortable beans bag chair for us to sit one while watching the match! So cozy! Not only that, we also have free wifi access throughout the night... So awesome right?

Also we are spoil with not only one but THREE screens to watch the World Cup final match!

What’s best is that we are served with so much food & drinks (yay I always love Domino’s pizza!)...to keep our tummy happy while watching the game! Domino also prepared additional buffet breakfast for our Muslim friends to break fast (sahur)!

Group photo with blogger friends!

Thank you Domino’s Pizza for the awesome night.. So much nail-biting moments and we scream whenever the player was trying to score a goal... and some goals are even offside (Omggg) !!! Although my Argentina did not win the World Cup but I think they put up a good fight for the first 113 minutes ....and just few minutes before the final whistle blew and Germany just score a goal (I got to say it was a great goal lah) to be the World Cup champion.

For more info, visit www.dominos.com.my (to order your pizza!) or Like their FB to know more of their updates http://www.facebook.com/DominosMY.

My thoughts and prayers for those on board MH17 and their families. #prayforMH17

Join D Football Festival Party to watch World Cup final and stand a chance to drive home Mini Cooper Countryman!

If you have been following my instagram @jessyings you might have seen this picture. Yes I was very lucky to win a brand new IPAD MINI at the D Football Festival press event earlier this month. You know after a series of unlucky incidents (laptop got stolen twice within 7 months) finally lady luck finally decides to shine on me! Thank you Manoah Consulting for inviting me to this press event!

I don't really have much luck when comes to contest (like slogan contest etc) but instead D Football Festival came up with a very simple game which is to guess the number of balls inside the Mini Cooper Countryman.

Sound easy? Not really cause there are a number of balls in different sizes stuffs in the car and basically we need to stands outside the car (to peep properly) to count the balls. I guess I really had good eyes that day and luck was on my side!

And I was shocked when my name was announced by Hunny Madu as the winner!

If you haven't heard about D Football Festival Party yet, well let me share with you what is it about.

Football fans can rejoice this year as Trad3mark presents D’Football Festival, a football viewing party for lovers of the world’s most beautiful game taking place at One Utama’s Central Park Avenue. This 13th July, 6PM onwards, look forward to 12 hours of celebration with family and friends leading up to the much anticipated final match in Brazil.

Festival organizer, Mr. Chan Shijin, Managing Director of Trad3mark says, “This is one of those times where the whole world comes together in support of the beautiful game that is football, cheering on their favourite teams in the company of friends and other football enthusiasts. With D’Football Festival, our goal is to bring everyone together in one place to enjoy the great game while enjoying a host of other great activities with their fellow supporters.

A festival isn’t really a festival if there are no music performances. Hosted by emcees Jun Yong and Hunny Madu, there will be a lineup of non-stop performances from leading local and international artists prepared to entertain festival goers leading up to the final game. Expect DJ sets from the likes of DJ Patricia K, DJ Nick Haydez, and Indiego & Co. as well as performances from local artists, Darren Ashley, Paperplane Pursuit, OJ Law, Hunny Madu and Kayda and Kartel boys, Joe Flizzow, Sonaone and Altimet, followed by headlining sets from Australian electropop band Van She. Also enjoy a fire showcase from talented and passionate fire artists Psycusix and a Brazilian showcase.

To add to the whole experience, there will also be face painters, stilt walkers and football freestylers present to make this a memorable experience for you and your friends.

I wonder if the footballer can do this during the match ah?

Aside from a long list of cool activities, fans will also be spoilt with an array of culinary choices from prominent vendors, leaving no excuse for anyone to enjoy the game on an empty stomach.

Among some of the activity highlights, is the Robo-keeper. The organiser fly in this Robo Keeper all the way from Germany!!!

For the first time in South East Asia, football fans can take on the Robo-keeper, where even the best footballers like Messi is not able to score against it. Anyone daring enough to take on the challenge and score will walk away with a very attractive prize.

There is more, the grand prize is not an iPad mini but this Mini Cooper Countryman! One lucky fan who can guess ( the most accurate or closest guess)  the number of footballs packed into the car at the D Football Viewing party will get to drive home this car!!

OMG...I WANT TO WIN THIS CAR !!!!!

I shall equip myself with a magnifying glass lah this Sunday .... hopefully can drive back this super cool Mini Cooper Countryman!!!!

So what are you waiting for... come join D Football Festival Viewing party where it's the final World Cup match between Germany vs ArgentinaThere’s no better atmosphere than thousands of fans coming together to cheer on their favourite teams! Watching it from a huge screen with a long list of food choices and fun activities are definitely an unique football viewing experience that you can expect!

Being a World Cup football fans, I can't help to score a goal for myself too! If only I can help Argentina to score against Germany this Sunday lol! Please support Argentina yoooo!!!

Joe Flizzow's #GilaBola

It's World Cup fever now... and thanks to that I officially had  cute panda eyes!

Have you heard Joe Flizzow’s x Celcom new song #gilabola (#footballfever)? It's a big hit and if you haven't make sure you watch the video!

Absolutely love his song because the lyric bola bola is so addictive... and keep playing on my mind!! The music video is a#truestory of people who#gilabola where it talks about the typical habits of ‘football mad’ fans of all ages and origins, like staying up all night just to watch the matches (yeh I'm talking about myself!).

Now it's very excited to watch the group eliminating matches and I'm rooting for Brazil...and I absolutely love their samba  (freestyler technique) technique in controlling the ball...but seems like they have to win against Cameroon to enter top 16 ! Germany and Netherlands team looks really aggressive and I think are the biggest competitor! My favourite players are Messi from Argentina and Luis Suarez from Uruguay, I think either one of them going to be Man of the Match for this year FIFA World Cup 2014!

Ah.. since all these matches are live at midnight... I think I got to put on more masks while watching!

I found out that by sharing all our football-mad moments with the hashtag #gilabola on Instagram... we might be really luck to be even appearing in Joe Flizzow's next video!

Full lyric of the song can be found
