Review & Photos: Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Range did deliver what it promises!

If you have been following my Instagram @jessyings, you will see that I have been actively travelling this year to few countries earlier this year. It's really fun but tiring. My skin has been exposed to sun for long hours especially when I was backpacking in Sri Lanka for a week in June 2015. 

Although I did not get sunburn because I was applying sunblock religiously but my skin definitely got darker and dehydrated every time I came back from my holiday. And to be honest it's difficult for me to get restore back my original skin tone colour and radiant. So when Estee Lauder Malaysia offered me to try their latest brightening range, I took up the challenge with the hope to restore back my skin color and condition. 

Estee Lauder Scientists’ latest cutting-edge research has uncovered that pigmentation has a definitive circadian rhythm, meaning that hyperpigmentation is impacted by skin’s own day/night cycle. Each day, skin accumulates damage from multiple assaults that can trigger melanin production and lead to spots and hyperpigmentation. With me here 3 products from the range, namely Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Moisture Treatment Lotion, Spot Correcting Essence and Moisture Creme where I put them to review for exactly one month. I was supposed to post up this review so much earlier but was busy with work and needed more time to write although I had took the pictures some time back. Oh well...oh well here is my review of the all the products range in details :)

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Moisture Treatment Lotion is selling at RM 201 for about 200ml

Infusing skin with the exclusive NEW Light Cycle QD Complex, this Japan Quasi-Drug Whitening & Anti-Inflammatory (China Special Function Spot) formula helps correct the look of dark spots and prevent new ones from forming. Skin is revitalized with a surge of hydration and prepared to maximize benefits from the formulas that follow.

I really like this lotion, like the name suggested it really prep the skin with moisture and making it supple and soft. Instead of using cotton pad, I prepared to dab and press it into my skin for better absorption. It smells has a mild pleasant floral scent and it makes me feel calm as I applied on my face.

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence is selling at RM 402/30ml. 

I read that this high-performance essence evens skin tone and significantly reduce the look of dark spots. Dullness disappears until light seems to come from deep within. Pure and potent, the Japan Quasi-Drug Whitening & Anti-Inflammatory formula features the complete NEW Light Cycle QD Complex.

The serum also feature similar scent like the lotion. The texture is lightweight and absorb almost immediately after applying. One of my favourite from this range! And usually after applying the whole face, I took half a pump to massage on target area .... with the hope my dark spot will be lighten... 

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Moisture Creme is selling at RM280/50ml

This also has signature floral scent. The texture is very creamy yet not sticky as it absorbs quickly into my skin when I massage it on my face. Love how it feels really comfortable on my skin because it think it helps to strengthen my skin’s moisture barrier. I can feel my skin was feeling bouncy and smoother after I woke up in the morning although I was sleeping in the air-condition room all night long. As this is a product under the whitening range, it also help correct the look of dark spots and prevent new ones... making our skin more even-toned and bright in the long run.

And the best way to show you how this Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening really works on my skin is to show you a before & after pic. My skin is glowing!!!! Pores looks smaller, skin looks more hydrated & brighter, dark spots seem to looks lighter now and more importantly overall my skin tone has been restore!! Oh my ...oh my...the result is so obvious that honestly that I don't think I need to elaborate further. 

The result is clear, Estee Lauder did deliver what it promises.

Review : Melvita Bio-Excellence Naturalift Organic Youthful Serum & Youthful Skin Extraordinary Water

Texture : Gel waterish
Scent : Floral

Use this product on clean a dry skin. I usually pour like 20 cent amount on my hand and pat on my face gently until it's fully absorb. Alternatively you can choose to use with cotton pad. I can feel my face is soft, moist and plump after using this.

And to compare Jeunesse Extraordinary Water with my other range I think in term of texture Jeunesse has the thickest texture (waterish gelish) and Narcisse has the lightest (which the watery) texture. And of all of them, Rose Extraordinary Water has the best scent like rose syrup and this is my fav product of all time. 

Melvita Bio-Excellence Naturalift Organic Youthful Serum - RM240/30ml

With its light and fluid gel texture, the Youthful Serum can be applied before your day or night cream for an instant feeling of softness and freshness. I usually take 1-2 pump depends whether I'm using them to massage my face or not. The texture is milky lotion and it absorb into my skin right after I massage them ( note that my skin is very dry so using 2 months are fine). Immediately I can feel skin feel more hydrated and soft. The scent are very pleasant too! 

I have been using since early April 2015. Overall I can see my skin is more hydrated and no more flakey skin. I can feel my skin more firm and smoother than before. My makeup stays longer without cracking! 

Honestly Melvita is one of my favourite skincare brand, their product and prices are pretty reasonable considering they are organic with Ecocert. And usually their products smell quite good and that's a extra brownie point!

Review & Photos (Before and After) using BelleWave skincare range for a month!

A month ago I was invited to try out a BelleWave a Switzerland skincare. To be honest, I have somehow heard of the name before but I just don't remembered where I have heard or read about it. How to use :  Every evening, smooth over face and neck, and massage to dissolve make-up and impurities. Remove with a cotton pad soaked with lukewarm water. 

Remember to remove the cleansing milk using a cotton using the upward motion to to gently remove all traces of makeup to prevent skin from sagging.

I always believe in double cleansing in our basic skincare regime whether you put on make up or not ever since I learnt about importance of it. Because if we do not clean your skin properly with the right product and method, our skin will be unable to absorb the product that we applied i.e we will waste our expensive serum or moisturiser. 

Review of BelleWave WhiteWave Gentle Cleasing Milk

I like the cleansing milk fruity scent which give very nice refreshing scent while I remove my makeup. I massage 2 pump of BelleWave WhiteWave Gentle Cleasing Milk on my whole face before removing my makeup effortlessly with cotton pad. I was glad to find out that the active ingredient papaya enzyme helps to exfoliate my dead skin cell on my face while I remove my makeup without drying out my face, leaving it soft and comfortable. 

Do take note that if you are having a very heavy & waterproof eye makeup, I would suggest you to use separate lip & eye makeup remover to effectively clean your waterproof makeup because using cleansing lotion to clean eye makeup is a little bit tedious and one needs to be careful so that the cleansing milk did not go into the sky

How to use : Use 1-2 pump of Gentle Wash day & night. Foam up with a little bit of water (not that it will not have a lot of foam) and gently massage all over the face to clean. Rinse with lukewarm water. 

 

Review of BelleWave WhiteWave Gentle Wash

I really like the refreshing fruity scent which help to awaken my senses every time I wash my face. It's my favourite scent among all the products I used. Although this facial wash does not produce a lot of foam but it gently clean my skin without drying or causing any irritation.

It cleans off my makeup residue, dirt and everything nicely leaving my skin feeling clean, refreshing, soft and moisture. Don't forget to clean your neck too because this is the place that we always tend to forget to clean properly.... dark looking lines on the neck looks unattractive.

Allow to dry naturally for a few minutes before following with subsequent day or night skin care

Review of BelleWave WhiteWave Refreshing Lotion

I have heard a lot of girls skip their toner from their skincare routine because they are lazy and their toner makes their skin dry. In actual fact a good toner helps to tones, purifies and keeps the surface of the epidermis free of dead skin cells without drying out the skin. And more importantly, it helps preps the skin for the next skin care regime for better penetration. BelleWave WhiteWave Refreshing Lotion comes in clear & light liquid texture, and it's fruity scent in this product is similar like the cleansing milk & gentle wash. My face feel refresh and moist and yet not sticky after toning, ready for next skin care step!

Review of BelleWave ClearWave Comedone Repair Activist

To be honest I don't have a lot of blackhead to start with but I do have a little bit of whitehead on my chin and and around my cheek area, my pores are quite large too. I use this light liquid sparingly, I put 1 full dropper on the cotton before dabbing on my nose and cheek areas and it absorbs within seconds. I do have a little bit blemishes before my menses and this Comedone Repair Activist has calming properties to aid prevention of blemishes and at the same time it also have moisturizing and tissue repairing properties. My whiteheads seems to be a little lesser after a few weeks of using and pores look smaller than before.

Review of BelleWave HydroWave Aqua Marine 24H Cream

I am in air conditioning room most of the time and my skin tends to be easily dehydrated. And even when I applied this moisturiser in the morning I wake up, the moisturiser manage to keep my skin hydrated all day long. I love how this creamy moisturiser it absorbs pretty quickly leaving my skin smooth, soft and supple. I can feel that my skin firmer with the "toing toing" feeling. 

Usually I apply 1 pump in the morning because I still will apply my sunblock after that and I will apply 2 pump of this cream at night to keep my skin supple all night long.

Review of BelleWave Sunwave DNA De-Tox UV Block White SPF 45 PA+++ 

I can never leave my house without putting on my sunblock and moisturiser cos I have learn the hard way. When I was younger, I was a outdoor person loves going hiking and camping yet I do not put on sunblock until I was in college. I just hate the sticky feeling. Over the years I learn the  the sun’s noxious UV rays and other environmental pollutants how it will makes our skin age faster than our real age. Scary isn't it ? So girls please do not skip your sunblock, there are plenty of sunblock that are non-greasy and one of them are BelleWave SunWave UV Block. 

BelleWave Sunwave DNA De-Tox UV Block White SPF 45 PA+++ texture is lightweight creamy and spread evenly on my skin without leaving a white cast. I was told this non-greasy, ultra-light emulsion can be a 2 in 1 product for people for oily skin because this has contains shea butter that can keep the skin moist and protected at the same time. It took a few good minutes to absorb before I could barely feel the product is on my skin. Love how my skin feels velvety, smooth and light throughout the day!

My before pic (taken a month back) : This is one of my worst skin condition I had in this few year. 

My life was really hectic back in December and January, and I took this picture just before I had my period so you can see the blemishes here and there a bit. I think not only I was feeling stress but then I also lack of sleep. So my skin was really bad that I was thinking twice should I show you this picture. Feeling ashamed of my skin condition but then I decided to show you this because I want to show you the real problem of my skin.

I thought I could hide my flaw behind the makeup but then I can't hide the fact that my skin was peeling badly on the nose and chin at that time. It also came to the point that my makeup looked floating on my skin i.e the foundation looks flakey and cakey because my skin is really dry. I have tried doing masks every alternate night and applying my usual hydrating serum it seems to get a little bit better but the problems still remains.

How to use
