Kenanga Wholesale City - Malaysia’s First & Only Fashion Wholesale Shopping Mall Heaven

Have you guys heard of Kenanga Wholesale City (KWC)?

Well this Kenanga Wholesale City (KWC) is Malaysia’s first one-stop fashion wholesale shopping centre which was officially opened on 20 October 2011 brings together a large and comprehensive directory of businesses - fashion, accessories, shoes, gifts, stationery and other lifestyle products, all under one roof.

It is strategically located in the heart of the country's fashion wholesale hub - Jalan Kenanga ( also known as Ho Ching Yun in Cantonese). KWC aims to follows the resounding success of fashion wholesale malls in the Asian region such as Platinum Fashion Mall in Bangkok, Dongdaemun Market in Seoul, Mangga Dua Wholesale Complex in Jakarta and many fashion wholesale malls in Humen, China.

Thanks to AirAsia, I have been flying to Bangkok a few times just to shop at Platinum Fashion Mall and just early last year I went to Dongdaemun Market in Seoul,Korea and I must say I love these places because I can get very good deal of fashion buy here!

Now with Kenanga Wholesale City I hope that I do not need to fly to overseas every year to shop!

I was invited to join their special media preview just before Christmas and there Mr Bernard Bong, Managing Director of Kenanga Wholesale City Sdn Bhd said that “KWC is special because it demystifies the common belief that wholesale shopping often takes place in a crowded and substandard environment”.

With 500,000 square feet nett lettable retail space, this 22 storeyed one-stop fashion wholesale shopping mall boasts nine storeys of shopping adventure. It features more than 800 retail shops offering everything that falls within the fashion umbrella for women, men and children, including apparel, footwear, jewellery, accessories, bags as well as leather goods.

In addition to that, there are several retailers specially dedicated to Islamic fashion in a bid to provide a variety of traditional and contemporary apparel for the Muslim market.

KWC also promises supreme convenience and premium comfort for all shoppers with features such as wide walkways, high ceilings and more than 1,800 parking bays.

Even though it is called a wholesale city, some of the shops here does retails too for walk-in customers. And if you are getting a few pieces of goods from the same store, you may asked for wholesale price too!

I was suprised to find out that there is a halal and non-halal food courts & outlets located throughout the mall. They include Old Town White Coffee, Sajian Enak, MJ Café, Kazu Sushi Japanese Restaurant and many snack kiosks.

At the end of the tour, the media are put to a challenge to dress up model with the given theme, time and money. We got "Kate Moss" as our model and our theme is traditional outfit.

I found this Yan's Creation was a perfect place to choose traditional clothing for our model. I want something classy with a touch of traditional :)

As I was the only girl in our group, so basically the guys are agreeing on what I picked !

It was love at first sight, that I chose this white Kaftan dress full beautiful embroideries at the front part of the dress. Apart from that, I got a white scarf, white sunny, white clutch and a super bling heels from different shops at KWC hoping to give my model a classy & modern look with a touch of traditional element here.

And guess what, we won this competition and each of us are awarded RM250 cash vouchers!

Looked how happy I looked with my creation because now I have cash vouchers to shop at Kenanga Wholesale City for my Chinese new year clothes!

Hennessy V.S.O.P NyX Launch Party in Malaysia

Well Hennessy NYX Launch Party is officially my first party of year 2012 !

Hennessy Malaysia had just launched their new NYX collection on 5th January in Midvalley Mall, KL and and I am one of the lucky bloggers to be invited.

There were a lot bloggers, lots of pictures taking and there were games using Ipad, where top scorer can win a bottle of Hennessy NYX (too bad I'm bad at games!)

I really like the backdrop, just like sky full of shinning stars :)

Well like most people who has guessed it right , the party is held at Vertigo, The Gardens.



I must say Hennessy did an excellent job in creating this backdrop! Looked so nice !



It was really crampped and difficult to walk around, did not expect to have such a big crowd! But Julie Woon, MC for the night got it under control!



The party kicked started pretty hot with these dancers. Their body are illuminated with LED lights!

The Hennessy NYX bottle was officially launched at the party !

I love how this platinum bottle with QR code looked so classy , somemore can glow in dark under ultraviolet light!!!

p/s : Oh did I mentioned, all of us got free flow all night long ....!!!!

Then DJ Blink hit the floor!

And the whole dance floor & the stage was illuminating in purple and white !!!

It was another night that we dominate it with Hennessy!

Everyone starts shaking!

Oh did I mentioned, bloggers literally conquering the dance floor... it is crazy!

Swatch: Laneige Lip Styling Duo in Pink Glow

Remember just "last year" I reviewed about this new LaneigeLip Styling Duo in Coral Beige ? And I remembered Laura commented asking me to show them the other shade, which is Pink Glow (LR04). Unfortunately I do not have them in my possession to show you how it looked on my lips!

Anyway I have the swatch to share with you girls , for you girls to compare!

As you can see, Laneige Lip Styling Duo in Pink Glow is very bubblegum pink . As for the texture, it is the same like the Coral Beige, very smooth and easy to apply :) To be honest this is not an easy colour to carry . However this pink glow colour would be perfect for people who want to create Japanese kawaii look or grayu look.

My review : I have been using Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum + for few weeks and I found that the new improved serum absorb better than the old serum. Because of the watery texture I only need to use 1 pump for my whole face. It really like this serum because it gives better hydration and keep my skin supple until the next morning when I woke up even though I am sleeping in air-condition room. However I have not see major changes for my stubborn dark spots yet as I just started trying this serum a while ago and I do not except magic to happen but I hope to see it is lighter soon!

Ah so far I am loving it ! Will keep you guys updated after I finish this bottle !

Going to Medan as my last trip of 2011

Ah I will be away for 4 days 3 night to Medan and will be staying in one of the most beautiful lake in the world Lake Toba, Medan, Indonesia.

This would be a girls trip ( Sharon, Ellis and Wendy) and I hope it would be a good one!
