Happy Mid-Autumn to all of you!

Hi everyone today I am celebrating the Mid-Autumn festival!

According to Wikipedia not only Chinese is celebrating this festival, the Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese also celebrating this festival back in 3000 years! (I never know about this..!)

And the Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, which is usually around late September or early October in the Gregorian calendar. It is a date that parallels the autumnal equinox of the solar calendar, when the moon is supposedly at its fullest and roundest. The traditional food of this festival is the mooncake, of which there are many different varieties. (from wikipedia .. I am not so knowledge on this, except the mooncakes part!)

And this is a celebration for family to get together to admire the bright & round moon while eating mooncakes~

Sometimes people refer this festival as Lantern Festival~

This is the most traditional paper lantern .. And today most lantern operated with battery but I still prefer the traditional one!

Tonight I am going to light up my lantern and eat my mooncakes!

Yes speaking of mooncakes!!

I always buy it to give to people but not for myself.

So this year I decided to get my own mooncakes!
