Kiss Me 10th Anniversary Roadshow

Last weekend Kiss Me celebrated their 10th anniversary roadshow in Publika. Being a fan of Kiss Me, I decided to drop by to check out after having lunch at my favourite lunch place Go Noodle because I remembered seeing that there are lots of promotions going on for Kiss Me products and there will be LIVE Make-Up show by a Japanese make up artist.

So I went around to check out some Kiss Me makeup and found they have recently launched some new makeup products!  

Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Eye Designer Eye Shadow Liner (RM39.90) that can works as eye liner and eyes shadow by blending with our finger. 

Comes in 2 shade ; Hazel Brown and Shiny Gold.

Kiss Me Make Jewelry Eye Colour (RM49.90) comes with 4 shades. The texture is very fine and shimmering. The colours are really nice and suits all skin tone.

So when there is makeup to play for free, girls will take opportunity to try out! Some of fans managed to book slot to do makeover but I just try it on my own.. later I showed you all the outcome of my look with Kiss Me products ya :)

 

The real reason why I'm there for the roadshow is to watch live makeup demonstration by Sayuri Igarashi a makeup artist flown all the way from Japan besides checking out Kiss Me makeup range! I remembered I saw her in one of the previous Kiss Me roadshow back in 2012. 

 Sayuri is really friendly and provide lots of helpful tips during demonstration.

 As you can see , she is using Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Eye Designer Eye Shadow Liner and drew an inward V shape at the corner of the eyes before she starts to blend that evenly.

 After that she drew a thin line close to the eyelashes using the shadow liner before layering it with Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner.

 And Sayuri Igarashi demostrated the latest makeup trend from Japan, where now in Japan girls put their blusher just below their eye bag.

 Sayuri also shared with us that compared to year 2013 and 2014, the makeup trend this year in Japan is to looking natural and no makeup look!

Review : Clarins Body Shaping Cream

It's no secret that I love Clarins skincare and here are some of my favourite!

If you haven't try their HydraQuench Mask or One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser, you should totally try them. I lost count how many tubes of HydraQuench Mask I have used actually. And thanks to my friend recommendation Juli I bought this One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser. I actually bought one tube when I arrived Taipei Airport but accidentally left it in the first hotel after using for one time before moving to another hotel. And came back to KLIA2 Airport and bought this tube again cause I  really like it!

I have heard so much about Clarins body products but haven't really try it.

With me here is the new Clarins Body Shaping Cream that helps to target stubborn fat, firms and redefines shape.

It has Organic Quince extract which helps improve firmness and elasticity and Hibiscus Flower acids and Betaine which helps to hydrate and smoothed the skin 

It comes in a super big jar! 

The texture is light cream type which leave the skin smooth after application. The texture has the melting designed formula that is easy to use for massage. It is neither oily or sticky after application, yay! I really like the light floral-woody scent which gives a sense of freshness after application.

2. Massage your cream in circular motions to increase circulation and target the deeper tissues

What I usually do before I sleep is to glide through my fists over my hips, abdomen, arms and other targeted area before I massage in circular motion.

In case you are wondering, this is not a magic cream that can works overnight to slim you down. It needs determination to apply this Clarins Body Shaping Cream daily to see result, it's better to use hard pressure while doing massaging as it will effectively break down fat and it's a bit painful honestly. I can feel slightly ache at some areas and my body felt a little bit lighter. I guess it takes the bloatedness and water retention away. Luckily the muscle soreness disappeared quickly after a few days leaving the skin firmer each and every time. 

To get the triple sculpting, firming and refining action in a sumptuously soft formulation to be working, it is also important to have healthy & balance lifestyle to complement. And I have tried to sleep early nowadays, go for swimming and eat healthily (avoid eating too late etc) hopefully can lose all the stubborn fats away slowly and healthily.

How many time you refuse to put on makeup before you know your skin is oily and makeup will melt in our Malaysian humid weather? 

Thanks to waterproof mascara and eyeliner, even under hot sun or rain, they looks perfectly fine. I applied THEFACESHOP Oil Control Water Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ on the right hand side as I am impressed with the huge difference. Coverage is quite good I would say.

As you can see my skin colour immediately looks more even, dark spots / pigmentations are reasonably covered giving it a fresh coverage. And I can see the pores are cleary minimized! 

Love the matte coverage! And it did stay all day long and even under hot weather, it did control the oil and does not melt the makeup away! Although I don't really have oily skin but this foundation does not dry me up, which are great!

Since my foundation is done, I finished up my look with THEFACESHOP makeup as well. Let's see if I can create a Korean insipred look with this! 

THEFACESHOP Dual Baked Shadow OR01

Very pigmented and easy to blend. Very shimmering hence need to be careful when applying this eyeshadow. I prefer to use my fingers to blend.

If you have been following my Instagram @jessyings, you will see that I have been actively travelling this year to few countries earlier this year. It's really fun but tiring. My skin has been exposed to sun for long hours especially when I was backpacking in Sri Lanka for a week in June 2015.

I really like this lotion, like the name suggested it really prep the skin with moisture and making it supple and soft. Instead of using cotton pad, I prepared to dab and press it into my skin for better absorption. It smells has a mild pleasant floral scent and it makes me feel calm as I applied on my face.

The serum also feature similar scent like the lotion. The texture is lightweight and absorb almost immediately after applying. One of my favourite from this range! And usually after applying the whole face, I took half a pump to massage on target area .... with the hope my dark spot will be lighten... 

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Moisture Creme is selling at RM280/50ml

This also has signature floral scent. The texture is very creamy yet not sticky as it absorbs quickly into my skin when I massage it on my face. Love how it feels really comfortable on my skin because it think it helps to strengthen my skin’s moisture barrier. I can feel my skin was feeling bouncy and smoother after I woke up in the morning although I was sleeping in the air-condition room all night long. As this is a product under the whitening range, it also help correct the look of dark spots and prevent new ones... making our skin more even-toned and bright in the long run.

And the best way to show you how this Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening really works on my skin is to show you a before & after pic. My skin is glowing!!!! Pores looks smaller, skin looks more hydrated & brighter, dark spots seem to looks lighter now and more importantly overall my skin tone has been restore!! Oh my ...oh my...the result is so obvious that honestly that I don't think I need to elaborate further. 

The result is clear, Estee Lauder did deliver what it promises.
