EOTD: Smoke Gets In Your Eyes

I got this I Nuovi Starstruck eye shadows pallete from Inuovi's warehouse sale last month for free, as I purchased more than RM50 and above.

The Ugly Truth - my eyes with dark eyes circle ( which makes me looks like a panda!)

And I have been thinking long how to makeup my my eyes looks bigger others than wearing colour contact lens that make my iris looks bigger which give my eyes dolly effect. Especially when the colour lens are so expensive now! Unless I buy cheap Korean brand contact lens which has no guarantee of health to my eyes.. which I still buy it for the fun!

Kindly excuse me.. I know this makeup is not perfect, I'm still practicing it !

I named this eyes makeup as Smoke Gets in Your Eyes because like it is as if my eyes are on fire and the effect of the eyeshadow came from the smoke !

Don't you think so too ?

The only thing I do is blend, blend, blend !!!!!

Blend until you are satisfy with the outcome.

So this is my makeup version of making my eyes looking bigger without any contact lens.

I am using mainly black, grey and white eyeshadow from the palette to come out with Smokey eyes of my version. I applying a layer of Shu Uemura's gel eyeliner on top of my eyelid only together with Clinique Lash Power Mascara.

What do you think?

I know I still need to blend it properly..

So now I need to start to learn to blend.blend.blend.

Online freebies

Nowadays not only the companies are giving out their product samples /services (aka freebies) for people to try via magazines but it has become a trend now especially the cosmetics companies are organising contest or giveaway via their facebook fanpage, which is a great thing for us the internet user. Because we then can have direct communication with the company itself , asking questions and giving feedbacks on the products and services. rendered What more who doesn't have a facebook account nowadays (okay maybe my mom dont have one YET!)! It is a good platform for the company (not just cosmetics) to maintain or build up reputation from there with their existing or potential users effectively and efficiently with not much cost going to be incurred. Back to my online freebies that I have obtained this month !

Won this from KOSE Cosmenience - Nature & Co facebook by sending an email to say why I want to try their products, I was one of the 30 persons selected to get this. This brand is under Kose (Japan) and Kose Cosmenience is their sub brands that target lower range of user at a more afforable price available exclusively in Watsons Malaysia. It claims that it is using certified Organic ingredients and harmonies between nature and science.

I was given Pure White Milky Lotion Light and Pure White Lotion Light both in 35ml.

Will try out this and try do a review on this.

Quite a while ago when Kotek first launched Kotex Luxe Ultrathin at the website, was told to fill up the online form and forward to our friends, unexpectedly I received this recently. Very classy packaging unfortunately when I got the the box it has some scatches on it when I received it.

In pink so pretty that you want to have period everyday ! Okay lah not everyday , die man!

This is from IDI's facebook fanpage where the 1st 50 persons who join as fan got this little freebies. I collected this from Guardian Midvalley.

Such a big pouch that one must be wondering what is it !

Take a peep!

I got 2 sachet of samples to try . One is Tri Action Defender Cream and another is Ultra action protection cream.

Last but not least , I got RM10 off voucher from Make Up For Ever facebook page for participating in their contest .

That is all for now !

Review : Clinique Lash Power Mascara

I redeemed this Clinique Lash Power Mascara in travel size (3ml) 2 months ago when they first launched in Isetan KLCC. And after my Stila Major major lash mascara finished, I took this out this mascara to try. This mascara claimed that mascara extension visible.

Let's see whether it does what it says.

The mascara is in black onyx colour and the wand is short just like normal mascara.

Information extracted from the Clinique's website
Mascara with staying power. Vows to look pretty for 24 hours without a smudge or smear. Lasts through rain, sweat, humidity, tears. Yet the formula removes easily with warm water. Unique brush reaches and beautifully lengthens even the tiniest lashes. Ophthalmologist Tested. Benefit of the mascara long wearing.

I took all the below pictures after I came back from movie, as I was rushing out for movie earlier on. Hence the mascara application was a bit messy, please forgive me for that. I was late for my premier screening of Date Night movie. Must tell you guys it's hilarious and must watch oh ! Back to the topic, I apply only one layer of mascara after curling my lashes, it was easy.

(This is the other day when I put on the mascara slowly and nicely!)

I am glad to find out the mascara's black colour did paid off very well on my lashes. To surprise the mascara's brush did lengthen my lashes visibly and making it more defining although my mascara application was messy here. As you can see from the pictures, after I came back from my movie, there is no flaking and smudging on my face. However you might need to take a little bit to remove this compare to normal waterproof mascara. Others than that, this is just the perfect mascara for the time being for me that does lengthening, defining and separation of lashes nicely.

The mascara did what it claimed ! Visible extension on lashes.

However this mascara does not provide for voluminizing if you wondering, which is understandable since it did not say it will.

I have to confess, I felt with this mascara instantly !

Thinking of purchasing it when I finish using this!

It is priced at RM75 for a full size (if I am not mistaken)

Mascara with light makeup and brown contact lens is my look for the day.

p/s: I should retake the pictures and posted it here when I am free.
