Review: Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion

I received a package all the way from USA a week plus ago asking me to review their product ! How excited am I to find out that , I was given a full bottle (120ml) and 2 sachets of Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion and their latest product Shielding Lotion + Sunscreen SPH 15!

And if you remember well, I have 8 steps skincare which has not include my body care to apply (I have to admit I am so kiasu, because I am gettting OLD mature ! which means I'm fear of losing out!). However this product can be used for face, hand and body which means 3 in 1 just like nescafe~which was invented for lazy smart people like me!

Are you also the kind of smart people like me?

This is what Skin MD Natural promises to perform !

I am going to do some experiments to see whether it perform what it says!

According to Skin MD, the conventional moisturizer does not help in treating dry skin and the the skin will be robbed of its natural moisture.



And with Skin MD Natural, irritations are keep out, moisture level are keep in and making it the perfect dry skin care product!

Enough of facts, let's hear me out on my evaluation!

I like how the bottle opening is, which make me easier to control how much lotion I would want to squeeze each time.

I am trying on my palm now for the 1st time.

The texture : Very Light which because it largely made from Deionized water (Aqua)

The smell : Very mild scented which was very pleasant to me, which I think is Aloe vera!

As you can see it is very light in texture , which makes the application to be easy as it glides in smoothly into my skin.

And the lotion absorb into my skin without seconds without leaving my palm to be greasy yet I can feel my palm is smoother and more moisturiser.

So overall 1st experiment on my palm with Skin MD Natural, I feel good!

This is my ankle !!

Did I hear yucks ? Don't say I did not warn you!!!

I have very very very 10x extremely dry skin at my ankle until its peeling and bleeding so frequently that I swear that many skincare/footcare I have tried have not give solution to my problem !!! Even Ellgy can't fully solve this problem.

And I was so embarrassed with this dry skin especially when I love wearing pretty heels and the dry and peeling ankles does not match my pretty heels!

So I guess what's wrong in giving Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion a try which sound promising right?



After few applications within few days, I saw positive result, my ankle was healing fast and my skin was moisture! I did not expect at first that such a light texture lotion would provide such a high level of moisturizer until I have seen this result !!! And this lotion shields me from having dry skin!

I am a convert by now!

And this is my Holygrail product list!

And I have to say YES that SkinMD Natural fulfill their promise to perform !

And great thing is I even dare myself to stop using my moisturizer (YES, my 8 steps skincare!) and use this lotion for one day!!! I am pretty happy with the fact that it does not cause irritation , my skin felt moisture and most importantly not greasy after a day long activity It is skincare cum bodycare !

So thank you Cat from Skin MD Natural for sending me such a great item for review ! And I hope that this product will be in Malaysia soon (Currently the nearest country we can get is in Singapore for S$29.90 for such a big bottle). I am definitely going to get this one for my mum too !!!

Been a real busy week for me especially when Chinese New Year is around the corner, however still manage to steal some time to attend Wacoal Sensuala Calendar Girl Launch Party in Mist Club last week. I brought another 2 boy friends (Lam lam and Lih Lih) with us to wash eyes ... hehe !!

I enjoy the most when Serena C is MC-ing, other than that.. even the girls in lingerie does not turn me up..Simply because some girls are wearing wrong bra sizes! I am very sure because I was standing right infront of the stage and even my boy friend realized that !!!!Hmppphh!!!! I got photos to prove lor... !! And there are tons of photographers at the event ( Yes, I do mean TONS, never before I seen so many photographer at an event!) ... I guess you girls know why..

And this is my prize !!! I did not win the Miss Wacoal Sensuala Calendar Girl okay, I went fully dressed!! In fact, I won this prize from a catwalk ... Well was cheated to the stage when Serena C said now is lucky draw time, the first 5 persons who bring to the age anything in red cherry and a woman left shoes win a prize. So the smart me, picked up confetti on the dancefloor and my own left shoes to Serena C. In my heart so happy won a prize, then she said not so fast, you going to have a catwalk and persons with highest cheering from the crowds win the white gold pendant! At that point of time, I am thinking Oh Sh*t! Why am I in the stage? Serena C whispered to my ears and said easy one lah.. boleh lah.. Hahaha.. she must has heard me cursing myself for being too smart to be on stage! All I remembered when its my turn to walk ( since there is no way to runaway) , I put my hands on my waist, head looking straight, and walked the runaway.. and gave a flying kiss (half flying kiss, according to Lam lam!).. and I was trying to hold my laughter! And my boyfriend was coincidently outside the club to get some fresh air when I was accidently doing the runaway!

So here is my prize!!

I got the most cheer from the crowd.. I do not know how !!! Haha... and special thanks toLam Lam, Lih Lih , Jean and her friends .. and also those who cheer for me that night !!! Neverthought of wining from the moment I stood on the stage.. well it is simply unbelievable !!! Hahaha... so I am also a runaway model material lah I assumed ..(let me dream on a bit longer!!)

Let me see whether it performs what it says !

Instruction on how to use

It is rich and thick in texture, with tiny beads inside...

I applied a rich layer of the mask ( as per the instruction) and waited it for around 10 mins. And then I put some water and massage gently in circular motion (and I can feel the beads is exfoliating cleaning my pores) before washing it off. And I like the smell of the mask!

My verdict : Definitely I can feel and see my skin is smoother as my pores is slightly smaller , skin texture softer and bouncier immediately after washing off. My skin tone become slightly fairer. I feel my face refresh after that ! I will continue using it and blogged about the result :)

2) B.liv Squeaky Clean (Beads Cleansing Gel) (5ml)
Main functions : Cleanse, Exfoliate and oil control

Recommended for person with blackheads & oily skin

I made my face wet before applying 2 to 3 pea size of Squeaky Clean onto my wet palm and lather with water drops. Then gently massage on my face using upward circular motions . The Squeaky Clean has tiny bead as well, it suppose to clean, exfoliate and oil control.

My verdict : Although I can feel my face is cleaner after application however I do not have much blackheads and have dry skin, this product might not be suitable for me as I feel my skin is tight & drying after application. And therefore moisturizer must be applied. This product might works better for people with oily skin or blackhead.

3) B.liv Quench Me (Moisturizing Gel) (3ml)
Main functions : Moisture replenishing, Retaining and cell revitalizing
Recommended for person with dry skin

As per the instruction in the website, after cleaning the face with cleanser, I take 2 to 3 pea sized drops of Quench Me and aplied on to my face





My verdict : The moisturizer is in gel type and it smells like mint. It immediately absorb nicely into my skin upon application. It is very light in texture and do not make my face feeling greasy as it Quench into my skin :) And my skin felt like I has not put anything on.

Recommended for person with blackheads & oily skin

My verdict : I applied this before my makeup and after my moisturizer. I simply like the texture which is in liquid form. And when I poured it out and apply on my face B.liv Got me Covered turn into powder form and quickly absorbed into my skin. As this is not only a sunblock but a foundation as well, it gave light coverage to hide my blemish. And since more it is 2 functions in 1 bottle (sunblock and foundation) will definitely makes my skincare routine a little bit less tedious ....or else I have like 8 steps to applied before start putting my foundation!!! I knoowww.. I am a bit kiasu .. what to do I'm getting old mature!!!
