Review : NEW Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 15 makes my skin looks like as if it has been photoshopped!

Recently I attended this Shiseido Makeup 2012 Autumn/Winter event and one of the product that was launched at the event was this NEW Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 15. This Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 15 is using optical science to manipulate light, it illuminates shadows away, bathing our skin in a radiant and youthful glow.

According to Shiseido's discovery, shadows created by wrinkles and sagging are actually what caused the impression of aging. As you all know as we aged, our skin tones changes, whether you like it or not dark spots, freckles,dark circles would appeared somehow! Not just that, our face will lose of elascity and resulting wrinkles & sagging.

According to them, covering these shadowy areas with conventional foundation is often not enough to contract them as wrinkles and saging usually occur on active parts of the parts and movement makes foundation tend to fade and cake there, making lines imperfection even more obvious  <--- I got to agree on this because I do find my laughing lines become more obvious after a while with some foundation I tried!

In this new Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 15, their expert has developed a new Radiant Reflective Complex (refer to the picture above) where it applied the light-bouncing effect of a reflector board, shadows immediately disappear. In addition, it promises that the radiant of the cheek makes the lifted look even more apparent.

So after using it for around 2 weeks, I'm ready to review Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 15 here!

This Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 15 comes in a plastic bottle with a pump. 

It comes in a liquid form but it is little bit thick in texture. It has light pleasant scent.

This is the Shiseido 131 Foundation brush which I picked in Japan's drugstore earlier this year for 1800 yen. Instead of using my fingers to apply, I thought why not pair this with foundation and see how is the effect since both of them are from Shiseido!

I must say this is one of the best foundation brush I have ever tried, the bristles are soft yet dense enough to spread my foundation evenly. I like how it will not trap much of my foundation in the brushes making this cost efficient! Shiseido 131 Foundation brush is basically gives easy, fast and even application! 

Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 15 glides lightly & smootly across my face whether I used this  Shiseido 131 Foundation brush or my fingers.

I posted this in my Facebook fanspage and asked similar question! My friend why is the face so flawless and asked me if I photoshopped it or put on concealer. Well I did no do anything except applying the foundation!

Review of Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 15:
I was really impressed with this foundation because only it even up my skin tone, it gives very good coverage without looking & feeling too heavy. It covers up my pigments nicely, pores looked smaller. I can see my face looked more radiant & has that glow!

Fines lines at my eyes areas looked less visible as well and it actually makes me feel okay not to use any concealer when I'm using this foundation! I like how it long lasting and kinda waterproof to me. I remembered last week or so when I ran under the rain to get my car and when I wipe off the rain using  tissue, the foundation stays on & tissue did not really pick up the foundation. 

However I do not see any firming effect (maybe not at my age) but I do see cheek book looked slightly lifted from the first picture. I have foundation on my face for more than 12 hours some of the days, it did not dioxide, it stays on quite well in fact without feeling drying.

To me my face looked like have been photoshopped after using foundation! 

 

With all the effect I mentioned above, this Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 15 has become one of my favourite foundation, yes my holy grail foundation!

Introducing BBF Beauty Box August edition, un-boxing and reviewing it!

Just two days ago I received a super huge love shape box at my doorstep!

Oh well it's the BBF Beauty Box for August and it was delivered via GD Express courier company, and I did not expect any delivery and it came as a surprise for me as it is quite heavy! ! I received this BBF Beauty Box as a sponsored one for this month as the BBF Beauty Box owner wanted me to review the box :)

I first heard of BBF Beauty Box like 2 months ago when a reader approached and shared with me. This is my personal favourite in the BBF box, because I have been looking for makeup organiser for sometime & it's not cheap and easy to get one that is good in quality!!! And definitely anyone who are make up lover would love to have this! Great to have it in this month BBF Beauty Box!

So I already start using them, and this make up organiser is meant for items like lipsticks, mascara or any small tube stuffs! I google and check the price this cost like RM29 like that!

Although this look cute, but I don't think I would be using this as I have other pouches lying around at home. Would prefer if another skincare sample is given instead of this.

It's the tradition of BBF Beauty Box to comes with Magazines for that particular month. Here I have CLEO & Cosmopolitan! Well if you are one who are lazy to travel to get your magazine, where now you can have it at your doorstep!

However I would suggest that instead of magazines, I would prefer skincare or cosmetic because usually I buy my magazine early of the month or when it's out at around 25th. And also not everyone reads magazines or read English magazine, so I would suggest BBF allocate the funds to get more beauty stuffs for subscribers instead!

I remember Cleo magazine for August edition came with Loreal Total Repair Shampoo sampling and this has been included in this BBF box!

I'm glad that now we have more choices when come to Beauty Box subscription in Malaysia, we used to be envy of our friends staying in Singapore & US!

For all this above, this BBF Beauty Box monthly subscription fee is RM48 inclusive of free delivery to your doorstep with courier service!

Review : Personally I think this BBF beauty box is worth getting (worth more than RM100), considering there are 16 items in total and 3 full size products! The make up organiser is one of my favourite, it was a pleasant surprise! I must say BBF Beauty Box has a good choice of products included in this month box as most I haven't try it before and that would be good because I do not want to have products which I already have. And I always love surprises and for RM48, this beauty box is not expensive at all when I looked at the content of the BBF Beauty Box for August edition!

I hope to see more beauty products which not available in Malaysia to be included in box! I would also suggest to BBF Box to attach a list of price of how much each above item cost, what is the full size price and where can we get it so that we can buy it in the future after trying it!

Makeup demo by Celeste Sng, Burberry Beauty International Make-up Artist

Few weeks ago, I was invited to see a makeup demo by Burberry Beauty International Make-up Artist, Celeste Sng who came from Singapore & has more than 20 years of experience in the industry to show us the ways to create the perfect luminous complexion using Burberry Beauty products. It was held in Burberry Beauty Isetan KLCC's counter.

Celeste showed us step by step how to create the perfect luminous complexion on the model.

Burberry Fresh Glow is something new to me because it has skincare ingredients although currently Burberry do not have skincare range at this moment. Burberry Fresh Glow is an all-in-one make-up and skincare product to moisturise and highlight. It is an innovative luminous fluid base for instant radiance, besides it is one shade perfects all skin tones. It is suggest to apply as a moisturiser for a radiant glow or use as a shimmering highlighter.

Celeste said that there are few ways in applying them:

-as a base, after skincare regime but before foundation (best to use with Burberry Sheer Foundation)

- mix it with liquid foundation, the portion depends how sheer&dewy the look that you want to create

-as highlighter

Here Celeste used -Fresh glowSheer foundation No.4 mixed with fresh glow.

Burberry Sheer Luminous Concealer is not only a concealer but also can work as a highlighter. It has lightweight fluid texture that will perfect and highlight natural beauty. I like how it can even be applied on top of our foundation & any time after make-up is done to do touch up.

I really like Burberry Kabuki Brush because it really felt so soft on my face. It was told it is made from pony & goat hair.

Next is the eyes make up. Celeste used Pale barley No.22 as base, Rosewood No.9 on whole eyelid and Tea Rose No.11 to contour the eyes makeup

This Burberry Eye Shaper Brush No.11 is super nice to use to do to contouring at the eyes area!
