Future Music Festival Asia Pre-Party at Rootz Club KL

 

Another 3 days and the Future Music Festival Asia 2013 in Sepang, oh I just cant wait for this! just looked at the list of artists performing!

Just last weekend we already started celebrating it at the FMFA Pre-Party at Rootz Club, Lot 10!

All thanks to Asahi, as they are the official sponsor for the event. Asahi Beer Japan's No.1 Karakuchi beer with no bitterness and and we have free flow so you can guess how awesome is it to kanpai all the times with friends!

It was a great night because we have the great friends, music and beer in our hands! Hence lots of pictures!!!

At that event, there is a contest held by Vespa which involves you taking a photo of yourself with the FMFA Vesta Scooter and then hash tag it with #vespaxfmfa to stands a chance to win passes to the festival and 1 of 4 Vespa’s on FMFA day itself!!! How cool is that!

A Tribute to Avon Women on International Women's Day

In conjunction with International Women’s Day, Avon Malaysia, the company for women, was all set to celebrate this joyous day with its female associates in a big way, highlighting the theme “A Tribute to Avon Women”. 

To commemorate the special day, each female associate (staff) received an exclusively designed Avon Teddy Bear and warm welcomes by the top management including Carolyn Nur Amira Lee, Avon Managing Director, department heads and their male associates at the entrance upon their arrival in the morning.

The objective of the self defense workshop is to teach basic steps to protect themselves in case of emergencies, and further highlight the need to end violence against women. 

The workshop is conducted by Master Saiful from Kickstart Academy. This is one of Avon’s philanthropic efforts in raising awareness for domestic violence. Recognition Award Together these three women presented different stories of their personal lives but shared one common goal – to raise their children with their best effort.

 Lily Zaireen Bt Sulaiman,42, Franchise Consultant   

She is a widowed mother of 3 children since 29 years old. With a strong will to raise her children, she strives to work hard and never give up. She wakes up at 6am every morning from Serendah to Avon Head Office. For over 20 years in Avon, she started off as a Cashier Clerk and now she has been promoted as a Franchise Consultant. She pushed herself to pursue her studies in 2005 and graduated in 2007 with a Professional Diploma in Entrepreneur and Business Management.Now, her eldest son is in the University, her daughter is waiting for her SPM results while her youngest son is studying in secondary school.

Rozelin Bt Ahmad, 53, Distribution Resources Planning Officer
She is a widowed mother of 5 children and is diagnosed with diabetes 20 years ago. She has been with Avon for more than 32 years.She wakes up as early as 3 in the morning to prepare breakfast to sell at Avon’s head office canteen. With her small business, she is able to save some money to raise her children. Now, 4 of her children are working with stable income and 1 of them is studying in college.

She is a proud mother with 3 children. Her eldest son is Saresh who got straight As in UPSR, PMR and SPM and he is currently sponsored by the government in a matriculation college. He is a role model to the other siblings. Sharmilla, her daughter followed the brother’s footstep and scored all As in her UPSR & PMR. Pathma hopes her youngest son will excel like his brother and sister. She has always advised her children that education is the most important thing in life and spent most of her time coaching and encouraging her children in their schooling. She has a strong bonding with her children and treats them like friends.

In recognition of these remarkable women, each of them received a trophy and RM500 cash. They felt appreciated and were proud to be recognized by Avon.

Review : Essenseri Skincare & Serum Mist

I was being introduced to our Malaysia home-grown brand Essenseri a while ago and my first impression ...

Aww their packaging is so colourful & cute!

According to them, they offer the simplest, easiest and fastest skin solution which will work every time. Each Serum Mist is specially formulated with active ingredients which derived from the nature and each offers different solution to our skin. Hence if you have acne problem, you are recommended to Acne Reduction Serum Mist.

I was given 4 products to try and let's see how I think about them.

 Essenseri Skin Renew Facial Cleanser : RM18

This is a facial cleanser that is free from synthetic fragrance and helps to deep cleanse the skin. It is specially formulated with NMF, Aloe Vera, Allantoin, Lactic Acid and essential oils. The benefits of using this is that it removes dead skin cell that which will caused our skin looking dull. It also helps to hydrate the skin which end of the day leaving our feel soft & fresh.

 The ingredients

This is a gel cleanser and does not come with a lot of foam. I quite like this because it does not make my face feeling dry after using it. I feel my face feeling smoother every time after I wash my face with this!

Come to the highlight of the review, Essenseri Mist Serum which comes in 3 types namely Acne Reduction Serum Mist, Age Defying Serum Mist and Extra Whitening Serum Mist and each priced at RM29 only! And this is my first time coming across serum that comes in a mist form and I'm looking forward to try to see how it works! 

The instruction was to use to shake well before used.

Essenseri Age Defying Serum Mist (RM29) is specifically formulated with natural ingredients that will help stimulate skin growth such as nanosom oligopeptides. It promises to deliver younger looking skin, forget about the lines, wrinkles and skin sagging. It is simple to use and works every single spray in restoring your youth.

And I think it does brighten up my skin a little bit after a month of using.

Overall my skin looked a bit brighter than before... besides using this I have better sleeping habit i.e I sleep earlier than I used to be (age catching up! Hahaha....). I like how it is so simple to use and light to carry around. And instead of spraying water mist , I would prefer to use this on top of my makeup... it does not smudge my makeup yet giving some treatment benefit on my face. Essenseri is definitely an affordable brand that offer fuss-free application with result. And this would be perfect for people who are lazy or reluctant to apply so many products on their face as each Serum Mist is formulated to target specific skin need.
