A while ago, Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE) held a KIX HD Launch Party at Vertigo Club, The Gardens Mall to celebrate Top Gear Korea’s second seasonal debut in the channel.
The launch party was graced by action-oriented communities that resonate with the KIX HD brand. Notable guests present at the event include the Top Gear Malaysia (TGM) community, which consisted of winners from a TGM sponsored Facebook contest. Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur, who sponsored sleek superbikes for display at the event, also attended the event with their community of bike lovers. The event, sponsored by Tiger Beer, brought the mixed martial arts and car enthusiasts’ communities together.

Guests present at the party were encouraged to participate in the “Get into Action” game challenges to get a real feel of what KIX HD had to offer. A series of adrenaline inducing games, consisting of a car simulator, a lineup of “Get into Action” game booths by Muayfit martial artists, car racing challenge, arm wrestling, and physical challenges that showcases a person’s “toughness” factor kept the crowd stimulated and entertained.
All the floor activities were also accompanied by real-time live action on stage, as emcee of the night, DJ Ean amped up the action-packed atmosphere with a flurry of activities on stage to encouraging the crowd to “Get into Action” in accordance to KIX HD’s channel motto. Volunteering audiences who braved the stage games walked away with prizes sponsored by Harley-Davidson lifestyle apparel.

Top Gear Korea Season 2 premiered on January 22nd, every Tuesdays at 9PM on KIX HD (Astro Ch 729). The Season 2 will feature an impressive race between Cobra Helicopter and a Corvette ZR1, and a never-seen-before car football match between Korea and Japan, among other experiments that will push the boundaries.
