Happy Mid-Autumn to all of you!

Hi everyone today I am celebrating the Mid-Autumn festival!

According to Wikipedia not only Chinese is celebrating this festival, the Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese also celebrating this festival back in 3000 years! (I never know about this..!)

And the Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, which is usually around late September or early October in the Gregorian calendar. It is a date that parallels the autumnal equinox of the solar calendar, when the moon is supposedly at its fullest and roundest. The traditional food of this festival is the mooncake, of which there are many different varieties. (from wikipedia .. I am not so knowledge on this, except the mooncakes part!)

And this is a celebration for family to get together to admire the bright & round moon while eating mooncakes~

Sometimes people refer this festival as Lantern Festival~

This is the most traditional paper lantern .. And today most lantern operated with battery but I still prefer the traditional one!

Tonight I am going to light up my lantern and eat my mooncakes!

Yes speaking of mooncakes!!

I always buy it to give to people but not for myself.

So this year I decided to get my own mooncakes!

My Doraemon Mooncakes!!!!

I watched from tv show how they made and tempted me to buy this to try!

Instead of the common lotus...

I bought Mango Tango and Durian Flavour - 2 for RM28 + !!!

I am going to eat this tonight!! Will let you people know how does it taste

3 weeks ago , the sweet Wendy asked me to meet her and she passed me this beautiful mooncakes and made my stressful day become a happy day!

I asked her why buy such an expensive mooncakes for me..

She said I made this myself!

Wow, these mooncakes are really beautiful right! It tasted so good too!!!!

She is so talented!!

Outside is Yam flavour snow skin and inside is lotus & green bean~

This is lychee flavour , my sis who tasted love this and keep asking for more!!!

This is from Tai Thong, bought from KLCC when they having 40% off!!

This is for my boy's parents

And this morning I got another box for free from my office !! Unexpected !

Hehe I think I have too many mooncakes already!!!!

p/s: Going to bring some to my friends to share over the weekends.. *wink wink*

Last but not least, mini Mooncakes from Magnum, eat already sure strike lottery !!!

So everyone Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, have a good reunion dinner !

Eat more mooncakes and gain more weight okay!!!

Review : Kose Sofymo White Cleansing Oil

Remember this cleansing oil , I bought it from my Hong Kong trip in early May. And now I finished my 1st bottle and yes I definitely think this cleansing oil deserve a review!!!

I picked up 2 types , one is deep cleansing and one is white.

The one I am reviewing here is the White one (assuming white means for whitening effect.. I cant read Japanese!)

I picked up this from Sasa Hong Kong for HKD45 , which is less than RM20/one bottle for 230ml after reading reviews from the internet before I go for my trip.

This is really affordable when you compare to available at the counter which easily cost RM100 above for 100ml only.

See i use until the last drop!

Pumped in an ample amount , roughly 2 pumps for my face.

From Sasa's website
Kose SOFTYMO White Cleansing Oil is an oil type make-up remover that can remove old keratins and make-up quickly. Orange oil and rice bran oil help to emboss heavy make-up like stubborn water-proof mascara, and remove all your make-up. It contains job's tears ingredient to keep moisture in your skin, so you will not feel a stiff or dry skin after use.

How to use cleansing oil

Step 1: Spread generously on your face and massage the cleansing oil on your skin with your dry hands. Massage softly on your eyes area if you have your eyeshadow and waterproof mascara on. Massage for around 1-2 minutes until the oil is evenly spread on your face.

Step 2:Add in some water and continue massaging. Repeat the steps for 2-3 times. And the cleansing oil will emulsify and turn into white milky substance.

Step 3 : Rinse your face with water ! And hula you are done !

Recommendation :Always double cleanse your face even though cleansing oil removes everything. I always follow with double cleansing with my Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam W to make sure all residues are completely remove off from my face.

Yes its just so simple just 3 simple steps!

And extremely suitable for lazy people because cleansing oil take off everything!

My SAY on Kose Sofymo White Cleansing Oil
The reason why I like this one compared to other brands because this gives me a really clean & comfortable feeling. And it not thick in texture although its oil and it does not clog my pores at all. It cleanse every little trace of makeup I have on my face, include my stubborn waterproof mascara.

Also the best thing about this is, the cleansing oil does not stings my eyes (I'm quite careless that often the oil get into my eyes). This cleansing oil is gentle and works perfectly fine for my sister who has really serious sensitive skin. Whether or not it gives whitening effect, I am not too sure.

Last but not least, this 230ml bottle last me around 3 months (sometimes I opt for my Biore Cleansing Oil in Cotton) and its only cost around RM20. I highly recommending this because that this is super affordable and does the job of cleaning properly and does not dry up my skin.

Unfortunately this is not available in Malaysia and perhaps next time when you are going to Hong Kong, remember to buy this to try !

This Kose Sofymo Cleansing Oil is priced at HKD 45/each (i.e around RM20) and available at Sasa, Aster, Bonjour and Long Sing Dispensary as well!

This is my holy grail cleansing oil :)

Am going to give it 5 stars !!

p/s: Hope Sasa Malaysia will bring in this!

Review : Estee Lauder Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick in Terracotta

Recently bought this lipstick at RM5 from Estee Lauder warehouse sale , because this is a demo lipstick for the counter use .It's all new anyway so why not right ? Did not expect a lot, especially when this is my first time trying Estee Lauder's lipstick. But once I tried it, I love it so much!

This lipstick is from Estee Lauder Sensuous Gold Collection 2009.

Let's see the swatch

Without flash

With flash

Let's see how it looks on my skin!

The texture is creamy thick, just within one swipe

Did you all see there is gold dust on the lipstick !!

My naked lips

My say : The lipstick gives full coverage, the texture is very creamy & smooth and its not drying. However please take note, the lipstick is slight scented but it's not disturbing. The color is nude golden peachy just perfect for Asian skin. I like the little gold shimmers that do not make my lips color looks too plain and give a sense of luxury. This is definitely a every day to wear color! I am keeping it my handbag noww :D

Note : Remember my review on Benefit Full-Finish Lipstick in Lady's Choice, while the two color are natural nude color, but upon swatching it, the Benefit one is a bit more pinker than the Estee Lauder one.

The Estee Lauder Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick is currently priced at RM80/each

Available at all Estee Lauder's counters.

p/s I am glad with just RM5 and I am getting a real nice lipstick for myself!!!
