BCL BFF Makeup Party

Last Sunday I had the opportunity to learn 2 Japanese makeup look (Cool Beauty & Japanese Idol look) from Takeru Hiro san using BCL products with my BFF aka my sis Jem :D 

 BCL is a Japanese cosmetics brand and the name BCL is the short form for Beauty Creative Lab. BCL is suitable for fashionable young, working adults who wants to look good. And this is the first time I tried out their products and I am pretty excited to try out as my friend has told be before that their eyebrow and eyeliner is quite nice. 

According to him Cool Beauty look are more defined and mature, and it has the characteristics of sharp eyebrow, black eyeliner, volume & curl mascara as opposed to Japanese Idol look that give supernatural look with soft eyebrow,  brown eyeliner, volume mascara and plus one point focus (either lips of cheek)

Allow me to share with you my opinion on the BCL products that I had tried in the workshop

Clear Last Pore Cover Face Powder

Very light coverage but it does cover a bit of my pores and brighten up the face.

 Browlash EX W Eyebrow Pencil & Liquid

 Comes in Natural Brown and Grayish Brown shade

For people who want to have quick touch up with define finishing on their eyebrow, this would be a good one.

Browlash EX W Eyebrow Gel Eyeliner & Powder is a new product coming in to Malaysia.

Comes with 2 shade; Natural Brow and Light Brown. 

Finally we have lighter colour eyebrow colour and this powder eyebrow would give a more natural finishing to our brow. My hair colour is pretty light so I have been looking for the correct eyebrow shade to match my hair colour and this 2 shade that they bring in is even lighter than the one I had back home.

 Makemania is also a brand under BCL and this is Makemania Data Gradation Tip Shadow, basically eyeshadow in a pencil form

 Bronze Brown and Light brown shade

This is super easy to use, just glide through and blend using brush or finger. Colours is shimmering but very pigmented. This is great to use on the go and small to carry in our handbag.  We were told that this is called magic pen because this can use as eyebrow, eyeliner and eyeshadow. 

Of all the products I tried, this is my favourite Brow Lash Ex Water Strong Liner. The name on the product might sound misleading because this is actually a liquid eyeliner and not a another eyebrow product. Browlash is just another range name (just like Makemania) under BCL.

The colour is deep black, very intense.. I like! The unique thing about this eyeliner is that this is waterproof but yet can be removed using warm water! 

The brush head had the shape like a marker pen, the brush is soft yet firm.

Over the years from the makeup workshop I attended, I picked up a very important tips that help me when I apply eyeliner or eyehadow which is  to always to brush a little bit of loose powder on our eyelid (or if you had your eyeshadow on then it's fine) to create a clean canvas before applying eyeliner/eyebrow colour so that they will stay and will not smudge. 

Same goes to our eyebrow, I used to have problem drawing my eyebrow using eyebrow pencil then I came to realised that sometimes our eyebrow is damp (from sweat etc) so the eyebrow colour does not stick on our eyebrow hair. Hence brushing a thin layer of loose powder before applying would let the powder to absorb all the sweat etc before the eyebrow colour can  easily 'stick" stick on the eyebrow hair.

 Browlash Ex Perfect Macara & Eyeliners is a new product in BCL that recently available in Sasa. Anyone tried this before ? I'm sure this cute pink packaging caught our attention right?

This is a volumised mascara with shimmering brown eyeliner is the tools to create the Japanese idol look.

Takeru Hiro san also brought 2 very nice blusher from BCL unfortunately it's not available in Malaysia yet.

A very simple natural look using BCL products, as you can see it's very natural finishing to enhance our existing feature. I bought the eyeliner from the event and shall put on a review if I got time.

I had fun learning makeup with BCL with my BBF aka my little sister, thanks BCL Malaysia! It had been a while we attend workshop together because she is so busy working!

Stanzo Collection Launch at 1 Mont Kiara

Have you seen any coffee table that has a design like this before ? Not for me!

I named this "transformer coffee table" because this table design consist of an elevated table top and a side drawer. Elevated table top provides options of using it as writing or eating table. So cool right? 

Last Saturday I woke up early to to check out Stanzo Collection official launch in 1 Mont Kiara. I am always on the hunt for new furniture for our home that was renovated last year. The above transformer table is one of my favorite piece that I really like and the price is surprisingly reasonable considering it's design.

I love this bookcase design and colour!!! I think instead of filling up with books, I would prefer to display with souvenirs I collected from my travel adventure. RM5299 for this... hmm....should I get this ?

I love this living room settle up by Designer AfroditiKrassa in collaboration with Stancco Songdream Collection.

"Bedroom" concept room

I think is is my favoueite bedframe and can add in side table  to have breakfast on bed!

I spotted this unique dressing table where it comes with a lift-up mirror. All made of medium-density fibreboard (MDF) with walnut veneer and leather interior! I would totally get this if the surface is bigger because I like to display more like show off and admire my beauty stuff on my table! 

Spotted some colourful bean chair..  not only it looks in style but it's really comfortable too!

Most of the furniture showcased in Stanzo Collection looks really cosy and modern to me! I'm sure you will be thinking that these furniture piece show must be really expensive considering the location of this store is in Mont Kiara. I was really surprised  to find out that the pricing were more reasonable than I thought as each of Stanzo's collection is sourced from the highest quality when it comes to design. 

I am now thinking if I should get the "transformer coffee table" or not.. it's RM2419 if I remembered correctly!

It's nice to catch up with blogger friends at the launching! Took all the pictures here using HTC One M8 camera... the pictures quality turns out to be quite nice that I can actually leave my dlsr camera at home for a while.

Domino’s Football Final Viewing Party

Last Sunday was the final match of World Cup match between Germany and Argentina. I was glad to be invited as one of the 100 lucky viewers to be at the Domino’s Football Final Viewing Party at Tropicana Golf & Country Club. Football fans at the viewing party consisted of the five 1st Runner Ups winners of the Domino’s Kickoff Online Contest, which went on from April 28 to June 1 earlier this year, and 20 of each winner’s closest friends and families. So nice right because Domino’s basically rent a ballroom for this party! 

From my jersey, you can tell what team I’m supporting right? I purposely went to hunt for this jersey the night before at the Uptown Danau Kota Night market! Was happy to be able to get this last piece of Argentina’s jersey so that I can wear on the finale night!

The 2 super cool MC in referee attire and whistle! They are super funny, good job!

While waiting for the match to start, Domino’s Pizza organized lots off football related activities to keep us busy. Got to say they are really good in organising those games because I was busy going around to play some games to join the fun and win some prizes! 

This game is where participant need to eat pizza while juggling the soccer ball. Not easy ah!

There are a few FIFA EA games station and it’s always full! I guess guys would never get bored with video games!

Face painting booth! I realized no matter young or old, everyone want to paint their face with their favourite team to show support.

I went to join fold Domino’s Pizza box contest... Where the faster person wins the limited edition Bola Bears. (I want lah!!) .wahahaha look how serious my expression ah... Too bad I’m too slow and after this I confirm cannot work in pizza shop already after this cos this 2 persons besides me are so fast & furious!

There are even Instagram photo contest Bear-A-Selfie’ at the event where we need to snapp selfies with their Popobe® Bola Bears and tagged #BolaBears. And the person with the highest number of votes walk back with an iPad Mini... How generous is that!

And this lucky guy John just walked away with a brand new Ipad mini!

Did I tell you we have this super comfortable beans bag chair for us to sit one while watching the match! So cozy! Not only that, we also have free wifi access throughout the night... So awesome right?

Also we are spoil with not only one but THREE screens to watch the World Cup final match!

What’s best is that we are served with so much food & drinks (yay I always love Domino’s pizza!)...to keep our tummy happy while watching the game! Domino also prepared additional buffet breakfast for our Muslim friends to break fast (sahur)!

Thank you Domino’s Pizza for the awesome night.. So much nail-biting moments and we scream whenever the player was trying to score a goal... and some goals are even offside (Omggg) !!! Although my Argentina did not win the World Cup but I think they put up a good fight for the first 113 minutes ....and just few minutes before the final whistle blew and Germany just score a goal (I got to say it was a great goal lah) to be the World Cup champion.
