Lancome Ultra Lavande Spring 2011 Color Collection Swatch and Makeover

I went to try out Lancome Spring 2011 collection recently in Loreal HQ as face model recently . I think we are the first batch of public to get a glimpse of this Ultra Lavande Collection by Aaron De Mey.

Below are my swathes and makeover using one of the palettes

Ultra Lavande BY AARON DE MEY

The Ultra Lavande collection reignites the seventies spirit.

Lancome Spring 2011 Collection that will be launched in Malaysia.

The collection is named Ultra Lavande as the colors in this collection mainly are lavender and pink.

Lancome Ultra-Lavande Warm Harmony

Color : Silver, light pink, violet and dark purple - i think the combination color is pretty common.

Texture of the eyeshadow is fine and i think not all the colors in the palette is pigmented except for darker shade in the palette.

A60 Ultra-Lavande Cold Harmony -

The colors here appear to be Golden , White, Light purple and Violet

Love the combination here, would want to see how many different looks can be made using this palette

The very beautiful La Rose Butterfly blush - a mix of different shades pink, lavender, violet and peach, which can be used to brighten up the complexion as it is created mostly out of mineral powder. This beautiful blusher is priced at RM110

The new must have blush is an original twist of two incontrovertible items of the 70's style: the bowtie and the butterfly designed by Alexis Mabille. In fashion, wearing a bowtie is the ultimate chic attitude, besides a way to express free-spirit and absolute lack of concern for what other people think. The butterfly is a multicultural symbol of free soul, feminity and beauty of nature

The swatch : Very light pink, with a touch of little shimmering in purple

Lancome French Touch Absolu Lipstick comes in 3 shades

Left to right : 310 Daisy Rose , 308 Lili Rose and 312 Berry Rose

The lipstick is very pigmented. I personally like Daisy Rose :)

Le Crayon Khôl in Rose Ballerine

It is in light pink color and more suitable to draw inner corner of eyes to highlight

I tried the Lancome Ultra-Lavande Warm Harmony , the colors are soft and the eyeshadow texture are quite fine and would say better than previous collection.

Very pretty feminine / spring makeup.

I am interested to try the Lancome Ultra-Lavande Cold Harmony because I saw the combination looks more special to the one I used.

This collection will be officially launched by end of the month in Malaysia. And I am expecting to see the price for the products would be the same like the previous collection (i.e eyeshadow palette RM140, lipstick RM75)

Review: Lancôme New Teint Miracle

I was lucky to be the few one invited to have a personalized session with our Lancôme Colour Design Artist (LCDA) to try out Lancôme New Teint Miracle in Midvalley.

Thank you Lancome Malaysia for inviting me to this session and let me try our this foundation myself

There is total of 8 shades to choose from.

With 10 years of research behind it and 7 international patents pending, the All New TEINT MIRACLE is a base makeup product that promises to give radiance from within, recreating the aura of glowing skin. Lancôme compares this effect to ‘light emanating from our skin’.

Quoted from Lancome Malaysia facebook, they claimed that Teint Miracle is the first foundation to improve the way your skin absorbs light. This super-light, largely water-based sheer texture is rich enough to provide a perfect complexion. With 10 times less fillers and a SPF 15, the formula hydrates the skin for over 18 hours for a luminous, light-infused, bare-skin effect. The result? Perfect skin, fresh and completely natural looking. Non-oily, non-comedogenic.

So I am going to try and see if this is true !

The foundation texture is very watery

Ms. Irene the LCDA , recommended that the right way in applying this foundation is using the circular motion so that it will create a radiance 3D effect on our face hence making it looking slimmer (did you hear me screaming!!!). It is also a skincare foundation, as this can hydrates the skin for 18 hours!

This is their latest concealer too, comes in 3 colours.

Its a bit creamy in texture, however still sheer if compare with those in the market.

It just sink into my skin perfectly.

This is Ms. Irene the Lancôme Colour Design Artist who was trying the foundation on me. She chose PO-03 and it really matched with my skin tone color.

I also try with myself, to feel the texture.

I circled all the pimples and scars that I am having currently (am having period >.< ) to compare with the after picture using the foundation and concealer. I think this is the foundation that give you the natural flawless look without looking like Chinese Opera actress.

I like the texture of the foundation is really lightweight as it claimed. And it does give my face some glow but as for the 3D slimming effect I am not quite sure..

Can see from my before and after picture that the foundation provide me an even skin tone color and light/sheer coverage on the face, and pimples/scars are less visible ( this is medium coverage) This is something I would want to try using especially going for work where minimal coverage is good enough.

Review : Loreal Luxury Warehouse Sale 2010

I was there around 8 something this morning, the queue was very long but not so long compare to last year. Was not feeling well the night before, so was kinda late to queue up.

But lucky Nicole and her lovely husband were there to queue up since 7.30am.

This is the queue at 9.15am

On the left side is the people with VIP passes , they went in earlier at 9.30am and the public was only allowed to go in at 10am sharp.

Just before we are allowed to go in , we are asked to fill up our particular by GME ( the newly appointed management to handle the warehouse sales). At first I am quite spectical abut filling up the forms, however upon further enquiry this was meant for their database key in. So that in the future if there is any warehouse sale, they will email to us.

Note : As usual those with handbag the management will tied up their handbag in a plastic bag before they allow us to go in.

This time around, we can see there is am increase of price in Lancome and Biotherm. And good thing is most of their products are pretty new in their manufacturing date.

I was looking around Kiehl's and there were was not in the sale!!!
