I found this little tube of Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Creamy Cheek and decided to try!

Beautiful colours, plus it is easy to blend. Just require a little bit (like a small pea size) and blend using the fingers .

Review : Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara

Besides eyeliner, I would say mascara is the next important beauty product for me. People often said eyes are window to your soul hence I always think a proper minimum eye makeup (eyeliner&mascara) is a must for all girls because that is the first thing people notice when they look at you. People with bright eyes (with the help of eyeliner and mascara) gives people the impression of this person is lively & awake and not a sleepy head (eventhough you are one!)

In Japan, girls like to have the big eyes effect because it is kawaii (i.e cute) and they want to look like those anime character. So mascara is definitely a must have item in their makeup routine!

Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl mascara comes with very cute pink packaging with the signature doll having really long eyelashes. I read that this mascara is voted #1 as the top mascara 2 years in a row on Cosme in Japan. So definitely I am going to test this out and see how does it works!

It claims that it extends your eyeslahses t0 120% (compare to exisiting product).

TIPS to apply mascara

1) Put the mascara brush on the base of your eyeslashes and apply the mascara raising the eyelashes.

2) I would suggest you to curl your eyelashes with curler to get longer lasting upward curls. And eyelashes curls would look nicer compare you apply it directly on the eyelashes.

3) For the maximum effect, it is advisable to stir (twist action) the liquid well with the brush before use. You should not dip in and out the mascara too often (unnecessarily) as it would create more air bubbles in the mascara which will dry out the mascara faster.

Review : Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner N in Jet Black

Eyeliner is one of my must beauty item in my daily life. Because with eyeliner, my eyes look instantly defined, brighten up and awake!

From the recent Kiss Me event, I was given this Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner N to try. Kiss Me is a very popular drug store cosmetic brands in Japan has recently enter the Malaysia market!

The name Kiss Me Heroine Make Series was created in reference to the word “heroine” which refers to a woman who is a main character in a movie, TV, etc. She is supposed to remain beautiful at all times in the story even if she weeps or gets caught in the rain. As this a makeup series for women who aim to become such a heroine, they named it “Heroine Make.”

Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner N in #01 Jet Black is an improved formula which still provides easy drawing and easy removal like the previous version. Additionally it improves on its blackness, durability and gives a longer lasting finish compare to the previous version.

This new formula eyeliner claims :-


1) Waterproof to sweat, tears,water and sebum

- The doll is a signature for Kiss Me products, here she is crying and is showing that even she is crying her eyeliner stays on beautifully on her which bring out the meaning this is a waterproof eyeliner.

2) It has more than 130% blackness compare to their exisiting product

-This new Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner N has more black pigment and it is 130% darker than the existing product!

3) Easy to draw ultra thin brush at only 0.1mm wide tip

This 0.1mm elastic ultra thin brush promises that the thinnest line along the eyelash bases and upward lines around rhe outer corner of the eyes can be drawed easily.

4) Easily removed by lukewarm water

-It can be easily removed by lukewarm water despite the long-lasing finish!


The ingredients.

The Chamomile extract and saxifrage extract are used here as they are gentle and give moisture to the skin.

The black colour looked pigmented to me and I am pretty happy with it.

TIPS : Put a mirror below your chin and look down while pulling the skin (with finger) at the outer eye lightly to the side to tighten the skin before drawing the eyeliner. Draw a line first and slowly build up the intensity and thickness up to your preference.

It is pretty simple to draw a thin line with Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner N 0.1mm wide brush tip. I have no problem in using and controling the liquid eyeliner asnowadays I only use liquid eyeliner.Remember there is no easy way to learn how to use eyeliner but practise makes perfect!

The real test of Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner N

Test : I put my hands with the eyeliner swatch under the running water tap for a minute.

Result : Except for the super fine lines I drawed smudge a little bit, the other colour & lines stay on quite well.

I went further to test the product to see if it's tear proof!

Well of course I didn't actually cry here but used eyedrop to test. I blinked my eyes few times to let the eyedrop flowed down on my cheek naturally and the eyeliner line still stay on pretty well on my eyes!

Review : The eyeliner stay on my eyelid whole day despite the sweat I had in the afternoon. However as I do not have oily eyelid, I could not confirm whether this is sebum proof eyeliner. Therefore I am pretty happy with Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner N (Jet Black) as it fulfilled all its claims and pass all my test.

Review : Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips in 260 - Glitz Blitz

First time I came across nail stripes and from the packaging can see that Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips are so glittery and pretty.

The ingredients

I have the 260 Glitz Blitz for review from Yuberactive!

What comes inside, 2 packs of seals stripes and nail buffer and cuticle stick

Inside the box there are 16 stripes of different sizes which you supposed to match which one suitable for your nail sizes. These nail stripes are long so it would be suitable for people with long nails too!

I followed the instruction on the box to apply and and it is a little bit more difficult than I thought it would be. Because once I paste the nail strip on the nails, I cannot peel it off to repaste to the correct position, as the nail strip is thin and easy to break. I took quite a while to paste and remove the length using the buffer provided. I would think need to practice in order to put on nicely. The excess of the nail strips need to be removed gently using the nail buffer provided in the box, quite simple.

As my nails are short, I discovered that I could use 1 strips for my 2 nails !! Yay for saving!

And the beauty of this Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips is that there is chance of smudging the nail polish and ZERO waiting time for nail polish to dry off!

I learned that these nail strips are made from groundbreaking breathable film, so nails are protected and won't be suffocate! Also like the normal nail polish, just remove it using nail polish remover.

Review : After putting it on, I think the nail strips looked so real & pretty (even my bf didnt' believe it too!) and was literally trying to scratch them off to prove to me I'm lying(OMG!). I like how the surface of the nail strip is smooth eventhough it's a nail polish glitter type. Even though I took some time to apply these nail strips for the first time but I think a few more round of practice it will be easy! Applying nail strips can allow my nails take a break from nail polish (because keep applying them in dark colour will cause the nails becoming yellow). Selling at RM45.90 is kinda pricey but it saves the trouble when I want to have nail polish on my nails fast and yet don't have time to visit the salon! So definitely it's a great product to bring for holiday!

Review : Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ / PA+++

Remember I posted a picture of myself and Bebe a while ago and I was telling you how I love the sunblock I was using (click here to read) it is fresh, cooling and moisturizing besides it protects my skin against harmful sun rays! Well now I am going to reveal and review here!

It’s the new Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ / PA+++ for face and body which recently launched in Malaysia.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence comes in a blue plastic tube. And I read that this sunblock consists of Biore’s pioneering technology i.e Aqua Micro Capsules where UV absorbing ingredients are locked in to provide strong, long lasting protection against UV rays yet with a surprisingly light and cool ‘Water-like’ fresh feeling. It is also formulated with hyaluronic acid and mix citrus essence (lemon, grapefruit & orange) as moisturising ingredients to leave skin looking healthy and hydrated.

Colour & Texture : Pale yellowish colour liquid with small yellow beads. These yellow beads are the Aqua Micro Capsules which has UV absorbing ingredients to give long lasting protection yet with cool ‘Water-like’ fresh feeling that is non sticky and non oily.

Scent : Fruity

Review : I always love Biore sunblock and this Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ / PA+++ did not fail me either. Being water based, I absolutely love how the texture is really “watery” like how it is named and absorbs really fast on my skin. There is a slight cooling sensation when I applied it on my skin and the little yellow beads disappeared as I swipe the sunblock on my skin. Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence really works well protecting me from the sunrays with its SPF 50+ / PA+++ and in my recent trip to Cambodia I use this solely to try out the effectiveness. I am happy to report that I applied this sunblock under my makeup and I have no sunburn at all and my skin tone colour remains the same despite being under the sun for the whole day! I love how this sunblock did not make me feel greasy or sticky at all even though I was sweating heavily in Cambodia! And if you remembered my previous review on Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Mousse and Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Jelly where I do really like them, now with the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence, I absolutely love them because it has the fresh citrus scent, nice watery texture, no greasy feeling and protects well against damaging UVA and UVB!
