Review : Eyeko Face Off Wipes

Last weekend Genting Pajamas Party was a blast! Anyway out of so many thousands things I brought along , I forgotten the most important my make up remover! Luckily Janice sweetie my bedmate, offered me a piece of Eyeko Face Off Wipes. At first was hesitant to use it as previously I have bought some others brand of wipes before and try and its not effective and dry out easily before even I finished wiping off my make up.

So yesterday night I take out to try and review to commit to my pledge for Miu's 10 days No shopping challenge!

Some basic info for Eyeko Face Off Wipes from their website

Individually wrapped for beauty care on the go. Each sachet contains a pre-moistened soft towelette with an ultra cleansing formula featuring Coco Glucoside (a gentle natural cleanser derived from... you guessed it ...coconuts) and antioxidant Vitamin E. Keep a couple in your pocket, handbag, desk or car - it's the perfect clean up for dirty stop outs!

General Comment

Generally the wipes are wet and gentle, after 3 wipes even my stubborn Stila's mascara and MAC pigments are gone! Will definitely buy it to try it, what I meant is this can be buy list after 10 days!

Pros
1) Feeling gentle and nice, do not have those tingling sensational feeling !
2) Few wipes the make up came off easily...
3) Smell alright , I do not like something weird2 or oil2x smell..
4) Easy use for lazy people like me especially sometimes very tired and sleepy when reach home
5) Very suitable for traveling , can lessen my baggage by 1kg!


Cons
1)Too small a piece, 1 piece not enough for whole face...especially we have foundation on.
2) I am not sure how clean/efficient is this wipes as I always double cleanse and felt the wipes are too small to clean my whole faces!


Overall
Worth a try especially for those people who have sensitive skins and are lazy to use makeup remover or hate the cleansing oil.. i will buy definitely buy after 9 days, since I always lazy to remove makeup until drag2x myself off the bed to clean off...

Day 1 : 10 Days No Shopping Challenge

Since I cant talk about shopping promotion and sales due to the commitment to the 10 Day No Shopping Challenge! Let me commit myself to my pledge in doing all my backlog post...

I saw this dog 2 weeks ago in Ampang while I was on the way for Ampang Yong Tau Fu. From far, this dog looked as if it is pregnant with something.....



Upon closer inspection by using my camera to zoom, I think the dog has tumor growth in his stomach probably... This is so sad, because I saw him walking really slow which might be due to this growth might be heavier than his actual weight. When we (human) feel pain, we can go and see doctor ourselves. What about this dog are tumor on his body which likely cancerous , and if this is a street dog, who will take care of them ?Probably this is a abandoned dog or street dog, but does he/she deserve a lesser treatment and right to live like human ? Dog is like human, they do feel sad, happy and pain especially if he/she having cancerous growth nowww.... I was thinking to call SPCA however the dog keep running away and away.. I don't dare to take it up, worry later the cancer burst or something and he/she will die straight away -_-! So maybe the DOG are enjoying his/her last few days or months of his life.....Hope he will survived... and this weekends I am going back to see if the dog is still around.. I will call SPCA this time around




I was trying get near the dog to see , however the dog avoid and running away (in a slow motion) I am so sad to see this ! Because I don't want this to happen to my Bebe and others less fortunate animals as well such as Cat and Buaya !!!!



Say hello my super cute and notty Bebe ! He is a detective , if you don't know why, click here to see why. My dog is totally like a human being except he barks rather than speaks, he is very smart and he loves nasi lemak with sambal as his breakfast! He will do anything for potato chips!!!

What is it hanging there ?

Spotted a car with something hanging below his car's boot... So curious about it that I asked my bf to speed up his car to get nearer to see what it is !

Something pinkish.... can it be a baby's head ?

Upon closer look , its a PINK stitch from Lilo & Stitch's movie character !

Wondering why is it hanging down there, is it intentionally or unintentionally...

Intentionally to attract the car road user's attention OR unintentionally the car's boot got hole that the poor Stitch fell out and hanging there !

p/s: Maybe its a trend now to hang your favorite bear there... but I prefer to have my bear2x in my arms ! I don't want her to get dirty !!!

Origins' Open Day

This is quite a postdated blog entry on Origins workshop that I have attended last few Saturday. I registered myself for the The Origins' Open Day event which was being conducted at The Gardens's Origins store following a small column announcement in The August Women's Weekly Magazine. I was thrilled because it clearly stated that it is free and further it states that free skin consultation plus free skincare samples!

On top of that there is a Mini Workshop of my choice , so I chose Skin Secrets mini workshop to learn how to repair skin damaged by eternal (environment) and internal (aging) factors from the skincare experts at Origins. Well here are the pictures that I have compressed from 233 pictures !

Origins is located at 1st floor in The Gardens

Origins SA claimed that their product is 100% natural , and this is their mission. I don't know how truth is that however their products DID smell natural !! I love it :D

5 Steps skincare -

The speaker of the workshop very knowledable and share about what each item do for our skin.



The cleansing milk very smooth and smell really good !

It cleans all the dirts includes cosmetic in the face before the 2nd step.




Toner is to remove what the cleansing milk left behind. This is also to prepare skin for the next step.

Serum is a smart invention from science, develop to penetrate into skin deeper, i.e the 3rd layer of the skin.

After the 5th steps feel my skin get a bit sticky....maybe not used to put so much thing on face!

However can feel the face smelling so good and hydrate

The main ingredient that is being used in The Make a Differences range.

Above picture is demo of how The Rose of Jericho is a type of cactus where it's a “resurrection” plant that can survive and thrive after decades of drought.

Soo Chien the friendly Marketing Executive decided to let us see how the Rose of Jericho transform when emerged into water. 1st picture show that it's total dry and hardened. However within minutes into water (here we used hot water for faster result) we can see that Rose of Jericho blooming !!! ( And According to Soo Chien, if put in few hours then the plant will turn into green like the picture below) ...

So girls imagine we used extract from this plant in our skincare which can face hydrated all day long.

Miracle leh !!!




Anyway after the workshop presentation comes the Q&A sessions, and I answered one of the question on serum correctly,so that's my prize....Ginger Bodywash 50ml!

Comments on the workshop

1) Although the workshop is free the overall presentation is good because the speaker Ms Susan ( who is a Training Manager) is quite knowledgeable and able to capture the participants' attention. I like the fact she explain in details how each thing works in her style... and she is very active and energetic with lots of action !



2) Although we get to test all the Make a Difference range but due to the sitting arrangement , we did not manage to try it on our face in the workshop . I would prefer classroom style.

3) Origins did not prepare doorgift for the participants which is quite surprising for me. So most of us who went to the workshop did not get any samples to try at home.!!! How sad, they should give us more samples to try and if its really good then we will definitely buy from you! They should learn from Kiehls and ROC being generous and confident in their own product.

4)No refreshment prepared on that day....however bottle of water was given to each of us.

5) The Gift with purchase promotion was set too high!! And there is no promotion set which I hope to see...

5) And this coming 10 October 2009 , Origins is conducting a workshop for RM50 fully redeemable and RM100 doorgift of bath&body products!!!!, I'm so tempted to go but not sure if the range they are introducing..and their doorgift is attractive! Also I hope this time around we are able to try the product on my face rather than my face to feel it myself !
