Sneak preview of my Bandung trip!

I was in Bandung earlier this month with Sharon, Juli & Ellis for a girls holiday and we have so much fun! Literally laughther all along the way! Anyway Bandung shopping is not as good as I expected but the time we spent together is all fun !

Oh and also I was really lucky to bring along Samsung Galaxy SIII, a new ultimate smartphone which has recently been launched in Malaysia, for this trip courtesy of Nuffnang Malaysia for a review (post shall be up soon after I finalised it!) and guess what all the pictures shown here are taken by it without any editing except putting on the watermark!!!

Eventhough shopping is not so great but as Kawah Putih (white crater) is one of the highlight of my trip which I think really worth going even though its kinda expensive! I shall tell you all more about this when I have time to blog about it in details!

It is really beautiful natural surrounding, blue sky, water in light blue greenish, sky in blue ,stones around the crater in white and trees surrounding them! It looked exactly like what its in the picture!


Travelling with Samsung Galaxy SIII 8-megapixel camera makes my travelling so much fun and lighter as I do not need to carry my dlsr everywhere! The quality of the pics is really awesome!


Even their front camera of 1.9 megapixel is not bad too! I self take this picture at Tangkuban Perahu which is another attraction in Bandung!

And put this 1.9 mega-pixel front camera a try and record a video spontaneously! Haha here is the sneak review of the first video! First time doing video recording, and it's so fun!

Very clear right? I was really impressed by it ! And my boyfriend actually went to buy this Galaxy SIII in pebble blue! And he is planning to buy 64g mini sd card to put all the pics inside!

Phantom of Opera by Ramin Karimloo hits KL!

Phantom fever is set to take over KL today!! Are you a big fan of them?

Ramin Karimloo is an Iranian-born Canadian actor & singer who remarably turn as the Phantom has made him one of the West End's most saught after talents! Ramin has been widely aclaimed for his award-winning portrayal of the sinister masked character in Andrew Llord Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera" during the 2007/2009 London season and its sequel "Love Never Dies", the Iranian born Ramin Karimloo arrived on last Monday, a few days ahead the concert, to participate in a few last minute round of media interviews and rehearsals for the show. Although he has 24 hours of rehersal just before the show and he said that this is considered a luxury as back in London he only has 3 hours rehersal before the actual show! I was taken by suprised when he said this!

Ramin Karimloo said Malaysian would be the lucky one to catch him performing as Phantom for the final time!

Annalisa Kerrigan would be a guest artists for the show. She is one of Australia's best selling classical artists with two best selling releases! She has an interesting background.. She is an Australia having half Malaysian blood lives in Russia is looking forward to perform for the first time in Malaysia infront of her family members!

Enfiniti Vision Media are down to the wire with final preparations for the gala dinner concert tonight. The black tie and evening gown only affair which has been referred to by some as the most exclusive social event of the year is the latest production in a series of high profile events presented by Enfiniti. Luminaries from KL's high society are expected to turn up in their most glamorous tuxes and gowns to enjoy a night of fine dining and rapturous music, all set to a visual theme that evokes the art nouveau charms of Paris in the 1890s, from the production set itself, right up to the hairstyling for the artists, whch will be undertaken by a team of experts from A Cut Above.

Besides singing Phantom of Opera theme, Ramin will be singing favourites from many other musicals as well as some songs from his own albums as well !

Dilemma for being a plus size.

I am plus size.

But I love wearing dress!

So being a plus size does not help me at all, usual perception is that plus size people (fat people) should just wear black loose clothes so that she will looked slimmer and dress will never look nice in them!

True enough, I used to wear big black LOOSE blouse or dress attempting to cover my "plus size" body. But then I discovered too at the same time, I actually looked bigger than the actually me and I looked really dull,boring & unattractive in those big loose blouse/dress!

Many do not understand we do not choose to be plus size and even if we choose to be one, we want to looked beautiful & confident. It's about being we want to be BIG and Beautiful at the same time! And this reminds me of a guy that saw my picture and asked me if my arms are being stung by bees and I just replied of yes, all the times!

So when I started working 3 years ago I wanted to look good and looked presentable at work. But hunting down for plus size clothing is a nightmare honestly, I don't know where got sell proper plus size clothing that is pretty & affordable...my usual finds is big loose dress that looked like pyjamas to me! So I used to go Singapore to buy my clothing there and it's not cheap plus it is not branded, easily cost me RM100 for a pair of pants and need to do alteration for the length also (another problem. I'm not tall....which directly means I'm short !) but still I cant find proper dress that fits and flatter my shapes!

Then when I discovered Dorothy Perkins, a UK brand. I found HEAVEN... seriously! I used to visit their store every single week after work (true story!!!) grab at all opportunity during their sales & promotions. Dorothy Perkins clothing fits me so well that I usually did not need to do any alteration to my dress. Their dress especially are so beautiful, colourful and most importantly it flatters my shape. BUT it burns so many holes in my pockets, a dress from Dorothy Perkins without discounts ranges from Rm168-RM300 and even with their loyalty F3 card 10% off but it's not much!!! So only once a while can splurge and buy myself a beautiful dress.

So I was really in dilemmas why plus size cannot have affordable and pretty clothing at the same time? Compared to my sister who is slim, she can easily get a really pretty dress below RM50.. and I'm so jealous of her every time we went shopping together!

So I was really happy when I found this particular blogshop that specialised in plus size clothing. Not only their design is really pretty and their price are really affordable too!

Sneak preview of new favourite red dress and I love how it looked good on me or I looked good in it (either way!). And I can't believe it when I was told this dress is only RM60!

Who say plus size don't look good in red ?

New Crocs, New You Makeover Blogger Gathering

Last week I attended New Crocs, New You Makeover Blogger Gathering which was held in Bangsar, it was a great time catching up with blogger friends while enjoying a scrumptious English afternoon tea with fashion stylist Calvin Cheong as he shares fabulous fashion styling tips, trends and how to mix & match our outfit & Crocs shoes!

My review on StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster Serum

I applied 2 pumps of StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster Serum everyday after my toner and before my normal moisture and sunblock all over my face, avoiding eyes areas. As I always have the habit of warming up my palms before massaging any products on my skin for better absorption, I felt StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster serum absorbs quickly into my skin upon me massaging it. The light texture left me no sticky feeling but merely a very mild & pleasant scent behind. Although this is a whitening serum, I felt that my skin are little more hydrated compared to my usual whitening/brightening serum skincare .

My review on StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Spot Repair

I put on StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Spot Repair everyday after puting on the StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster serum. My spots situated mostly on my both cheek area. Sometimes I need to twist more than 2-3 times before I can see the liquid flowing out from the silicone tip. I applied the product directly on my spots using the tip and used my fingers to gently massage it it. Just like the Booster serum, this spot repair also light texture and easily absorb into my skin. There is no sticky feeling after application.

I took this pictures exactly after 2 weeks of continous usage of StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Booster Serum and StriVectin-WH™ Photo-White Spot Repair. A very obivious dark spot which I circled on my left cheek looked lighter, skin tone more even and brighten as an overall after 2 weeks applying them. Some of the scars near to the nose looked a little bit lighten as well.

I was really suprise my hydration level increased from 26% to 31%, although it is not at the best level but at least showed that StriVectin-WH whitening ingredients are not drying for my skin and actually moisturizing my skin.

p/s:In this 2 weeks I did not use additional hydration serum and I was really glad to see improvement in skin's hydration level.
