Review : L'oreal Lash Architect 4D Mascara

I have been using this L'oreal Lash Architect 4D Mascara for quite some time. And it's time for a review! When I got my hand on this mascara, I was thinking to myself 4D effect already? Wow, I heard so much about 3D effect but not  4D effect! 

 L'oreal Lash Architect 4D Mascara comes in very beautiful metalic teal colour packaging! It promises to give 4 effects:-

1) Volumise your lashes

2) Extend and Lengthen Lashes

3) Texturise for a thicker effect

4) Curl for a captivating look

Well this is L'oreal Paris newest lash innovation, it claims that its the first mascara with sculpting fibres to wrap each lash giving them a magnetic 4D effect. It has 4mm long fibers which are undeteacable and ultra supple. Besides that I'm quite happy to know this L'oreal Lash Architect 4D Mascara has the waterproof formula too!

 The brush is sleek and the angled curve promises to wrap each and every lash with the sculpting fibres for the ultimate lash effect.

 Here we can see the bristles are quite dense & it is quite easy to apply. The mascara is in deep black colour.

Review of L'oreal Lash Architect 4D Mascara: 

At my first try, with one swipe of L'oreal Lash Architect 4D Mascara, I could see my lashes are more define and looks a bit longer. With 2-3 of the mascara, I could see my lashes looked visible and my lashes seems to lengthen quite nicely.It seems to hold my lashes pretty well too without feeling too heavy. 

However it does not give volume that it promises and seems to clump my lashes a little bit during application. And I was not happy to find that this mascara smudge on my at the end of the day. And I would prefer Maybelline New York Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara over this anytime for almost the same price range.

I tried Avon Ultra Color Rich Brilliance Lipstick in Sumptuous Cerise, its hot pink but the colour could not be captured as it has yellow lighting in at the event hall.

I was pretty impressed that this Avon Ultra Color Rich Brilliance Lipstick was quite moisture and definitely better than their previous range.The lipstick is really pigmented because it is infused with prismatic pearl pigments and it shine nicely on my lips!

Breast Cancer can not be prevented but it can be avoided by practicing healthy lifestyle, proper diet and regular screening.Statistics shows that 51.3% of breast cancer patients are below 49 years old (for Asia countries). This simply shows that the community needs a lot of awareness among the young generations towards breast cancer, the #1 women killer in Malaysia.

Year 2012 marks the celebration of Avon Breast Cancer Crusade 20th anniversary and Avon Malaysia is joining more than 50 other countries in organizing a charity fun walk called “Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer”.

FOTD : How to create the Party Look that steals attention!

Happy Saturday people!

I know I haven't been quality of not posting Face of the Day (FOTD) for quite a while. The reason is nowadays I am into natural makeup because it is fast to do & match with any of my outfit. However yesterday I took some effort to mix & play with the colour rather than having the boring natural eyes makeup for a change, as I'm attending a party at this very new & nice skybar in Tower 3 KLCC at night. I love how Marini's 57 club has a very nice view of the whole KL city from 57 floor! 

  

Well I planned to wear a red lacey dress & I wanted to do something to make people notice my makeup so I decided to do blue-ish & greenish smokey eyes instead of the common black & brown colour and pair it with striking pink lip colour from the New Shiseido Lacquer Rouge!

How do you like my look, do you think it steals your attention?

Well I broke the tradition of having heavy smokey eyes using black colour and instead I went to mix the blue & green eyeshadow to create a softer smokey eyes to match my striking hot pink lip colour!               

It's my intention to make Shiseido Lacquer Rouge in Disco RS404 to be the highlight of the makeover. And I think it was a sucess because it did steal the attention the moment I walk into the party! 

p/s: I really like how Shiseido Lifting Radiant Foundation on my skin as it has really good coverage yet looking natural on my face. Like I said before, it basically help to "photoshop" my face!

Review : Pretty Japanese Gel Manicure at Shige Hair Salon

 

I love my pretty Japanese Gel Manicure which I had during my Raya holiday break! 

Ah well pampering myself on public holiday is the best thing to do!

I did my Japanese Gel Manicure at Shige Hair Salon in Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas. You will be asking me why doing nail services at a nail salon right? Well the owner of the hair salon just introduced the nail services located a floor above the salon.

 

Biju greeted me with her smile when I arrived. She is a Korean but she speaks fluent Japanese (and Korean of course) and a little bit of English :) She told me that she lived in Tokyo for a few years and she learnt her skills as manicurist back in Japan. And now she works in Malaysia because she love the warm weather here and I on the other hand love Japanese winter weather! How irony is it right?

Akiyo the Japanese owner of Shige Hair Salon was there too to meet me & shared with me that their products & machine used in hair salon & nail salon are from Japan & they also use Japanese technique to maximise the effect.

 

 Well I always undecided when comes to colour, after having a consultation session with Akiyo & Biju, I decided to go for Japanese manicure with beige as my nail colour as I wanted something simple & classy.

They also showed me some of the pretty designs which Biju did. Love how Japanese nails design are always full of bling & cute details!

 Biju is very detailed and talent manicurist as each nail design is patiently created by her, step by step.

After 2 hour, my nails have a super pretty makeover!

Do you like my nails design?

I like how Biju gave her full attention and very skillful for the design she created for me. I really like the long lasting effect as the glitter shine & accessorries still remains even after 3 weeks unlike our normal one which can last less than a week! My true story, I was really impressive on how durable of my gel nail polish is pretty impressive considering the colour & accessories still nicely attached on my nail even even after I spring clean my kitchen I had a lot of wiping and brushing! The only donwside is that I woud need to go back there to remove the gel polish!
