Review : Clinique Lash Power Mascara

I redeemed this Clinique Lash Power Mascara in travel size (3ml) 2 months ago when they first launched in Isetan KLCC. And after my Stila Major major lash mascara finished, I took this out this mascara to try. This mascara claimed that mascara extension visible.

Let's see whether it does what it says.

The mascara is in black onyx colour and the wand is short just like normal mascara.

I took all the below pictures after I came back from movie, as I was rushing out for movie earlier on. Hence the mascara application was a bit messy, please forgive me for that. I was late for my premier screening of Date Night movie. Must tell you guys it's hilarious and must watch oh ! Back to the topic, I apply only one layer of mascara after curling my lashes, it was easy.

(This is the other day when I put on the mascara slowly and nicely!)

I am glad to find out the mascara's black colour did paid off very well on my lashes. To surprise the mascara's brush did lengthen my lashes visibly and making it more defining although my mascara application was messy here. As you can see from the pictures, after I came back from my movie, there is no flaking and smudging on my face. However you might need to take a little bit to remove this compare to normal waterproof mascara. Others than that, this is just the perfect mascara for the time being for me that does lengthening, defining and separation of lashes nicely.

The mascara did what it claimed ! Visible extension on lashes.

However this mascara does not provide for voluminizing if you wondering, which is understandable since it did not say it will.

I have to confess, I felt with this mascara instantly !

Thinking of purchasing it when I finish using this!

It is priced at RM75 for a full size (if I am not mistaken)

Mascara with light makeup and brown contact lens is my look for the day.

Wow was impressed with the result, the texture is smooth and the coverage is higher than Clinique Supermoist liquid foundation which I thought was good, but I was wrong !!

I think I'm going to try again and review it to confirm my next purchase for my next liquid foundation!!!

FOTD : Lunasol AW 2009 Dazzling Night !!

Last 2 weeks is my birthday and I bought myself the Lunasol AW 2009 range. And I am so in love with their Dazzling Night Eye Palette!!!! I think I looked dazzling because of this prettylicious Lunasol eye palette....but of course this is not as nice as the marvelous makeover done by Kanebo makeup artist from Japan, Mr. Mutsuya Sakai! Anyway check out my look!

I took around 1 hour plus doing the makeover according to my bf ! LOL

p/s: Still learning to blend therefore took quite a long time to do it until I feel its ok

Products used to achieve the look! I hope I don't miss any details.

p/s: Yes I cheated using Anna Sui powder foundation as concealer as I do not like to use cream base concealer and here it really closed up my dark eye circles and my birthmark under my chin~ Who cares! Most important its really effective & I feel comfortable... I am so tempted to get the Lunasol AW2009 Medium #02 Night Eye Palette which is in very beautiful green colour!!!! Lunasol Eyes Palette so easy to apply and the colours are very pigmented.

Review : Clinique SuperFit Foundation

2 weeks ago, I collected few foundation from Clinique to try. The kind SA gave me 4 types of foundation all together to try to see which is more suitable for my skin.

So today I am going to try Clinique Superfit foundation as many of my friends including Sasa claimed that this done magic to them.

So let me start my journey in finding out.

Before that I put on RMK Creamy Makeup Base on my "nude" clean face with skincare to ensure that my face is well protected and ready for the foundation.

I was given Clinique Superfit Foundation No 63 - Fresh Beige

Due to limited stocks, the SA gave me a little bit to try.

So I used a sponge to apply it. It glides down my face quite easily without any problem. It like the fact it is very smooth and maybe due to the watery texture of the foundation. And after going out for whole day for 8 hours at least , my face did not become oily because this is an oil free foundation. However I do feel that the foundation that been given to me is a bit fairer to my skin tone.

As you can see in the pics, the coverage is low to medium as I does not cover my pigmentation and blemish on my face. So I am kinda disappointed about the result. And I'm someone so lazy in applying concealer.

However according to Sasa : She feel very refreshing , and super happy when using it . And she has the natural glow after using it.....


Pros : Smooth, Oil free , lasting , skin feel very comfortable & light

Cons : Expensive, low/medium coverage, more suitable for people with flawless skin like Sasa!


p/s: I will try out & review others Clinique foundation range as well ...and meantime I stick to my Paul&Joe Liquid Foundation.
