My Bangkok Mini Haul!

Yes I been to Bangkok 8 months ago and thanks to AirAsia promotion I flew in Bangkok last weekends for a 3 days 2 night holiday! Guess how much is my airfare and hotel.. It's only RM200 for 2 persons inclusive of round trip air fare and hotels for 2nights inclusive of breakfast!!! How can I say NO to promotion like this!! Anyway my boy and I love Bangkok so much that we would not mind to fly in anytime if there is such promotion again! Fingers crossed!

Since it's such a short trip , this would be more like a relaxing weekends getaway trip rather than a shopping trip!

However the shopping gen is still in my blood

p/s: Naraya is Thailand famous local designed bag that are unique as it's only made from fabric. Not only they have a lot of outlet in Bangkok and other stores around the world ( Macau, Indonesia, Dubai, Japan.. etc)

My Shopping Haul from Guangzhou

A reader Tan requested that I put down the price of my purchase but seriously I don't remembered quite clearly. Because I buy if its looks nice and its below RM30 (Rmb 60). I try to jot down the price if I can remembered well in RMB ya !

Most of my clothes are purchased from Shang Jiu Street and Beijing Street. As usual I bargained to the max. My advice is resistance!

Example

They offered a dress for Rmb 60 (Rmb 30), I asked discount, they said Rmb 45 best price.I answered NO , I want Rmb 20. They will insist said no, Rmb30 , I said No and I only will buy if its Rmb20. And if the person said cannot or offer some thing else. I just walked away without turning back. 99% they will called you back and said "Ok fine come back Rmb 20 (less than RM10) for you!"

Some of the statement you can use included
1) I don't buy this dress is okay, still plenty of choices in other stores.
2)I saw similar dress at another stalls, I am going there to buy.
3) Sorry I dont have so much money to spend, cant buy your dress even though I want to
4) Oh, I got enough dress for today. Thank you for your offer.

This always work for me. And of course by cracking some jokes always help.

Also remembered to visit those shops/stalls inside the building/malls rather that those shop along the main road which tend to be more expensive.

My little Haul from UK

Ah remembered 2 months ago , I was asking in my facebook that if I should go for Europe tour which end up I did not because I have 2 upcoming trips this few months. Anyway, I am flying to Guangzhou China this coming Thursday..And I might go to Shanghai World Expo, and this depends how expensive the local air flight there.

Well back to my story here. My best friend Ellis went to London to see her boyfriend! She was there for a month to recharge herself! While I of course asked her to shop on behalf for me to recharge myself.

Below are my little haul!

Found out this promotion from one of the beauty blogger based in UK (cannot remember the link now) . Buy Glamour Magazine at £2p/each and get one Benefit's freebie! So the greedy me asked my friend to buy 3 magazines to get 3 different Benefit item. Conceal IT, Eye Bright and Bad Girl.

Not just that , I finally own the Urban Decay Portion !!!!!!!!!!!

HK and Shenzhen Part II

Start my 2nd day with HK famous milk tea ! Yummy!!!

The typical HK's style breakfast before we depart to Shenzhen by train.

On the way to the mtr station, saw there are vending machine that are selling printer's ink at the train station! So convenient!

Also got umbrella vending machine too!!! But damn expensive HKD68 each!

At Louhu immigration station, looks at the crowds behind!! Crazy a lot of people going in Shenzhen on weekends!

Checked in the hotel, hotel is spacious compare to the one in HK and its only less than RM100 per night!

Going out to have a walk, well to be exact shopping!

Look the cat is being tied on the tree, the owner must be worry people will steal and cook it.

The underground shopping area! The price here slightly expensive than those selling at the Dong Men Commercial Area.

We discovered this gem!!! Grilled dry squid! So yummyyyyyy....

There are many specialty shops, the artist will tailor draw whatever we asked for on the shoes

I miss this a lot too!!! This is like takoyaki! Inside is potato and on top of this is seaweed.

See RMB15 for a pair of shoes !!!!! I can even negotiate for lower price because we bought like more than 20 pairs at one go!

I end up buying an extra luggage because I think I am out of space in my own luggage and its too heavy to carry around while shopping. And this is big luggage bag only less than RM30!
