Isetan Mother's Day Beauty Treat

I know I am kinda slow to post this. But just wanted to share with you girls who has missed it out!

A treat for your mums & you 23 April - 13 May 2010

Buy 3 facials sessions at normal price to your mum and get yourself a Free 1 Facial Sessions & 1 Eye Treatment

Brands participating in Isetan Klcc and Gardens : Estee Lauder, Lancome, Kanebo and SKII

Brands participating in Klcc only : Biotherm, Cosme Decorte, Origins

Click to enlarge to see what extra treats each brands giving

Note for Origins : their eye treatment is being replaced with extra facial. Therefore buy 3 facials free 2 facials

Let me do the calculation :

RM90 (basic facial) x 3 = RM270 get 5 facials. So each facial is around RM54
RM118 (treatment facial) x 3 = RM354 get 5 facials, Each facial cost around RM70.80

Origins facial list as below
Rm90 Balancing Act (Combination Skin) 60min
RM90 Matte Scientist (Oily Skin) 60 min
RM118 Line Eraser (90 min)
RM118 Age Fighter (90 min)
RM118 Skin Repair (90 min)
RM118 Skin Rejuvenator (90 min)
RM118 Skin Brightener (90 min)
RM118 Skin Firmer(90 min)

And yesterday I tried their Skin Repair Facial at KLCC using my free voucher which I got from the Origins workshop to see if I like their facial to purchase it.Overall experience is nice and especially I like the shoulder wrapped (which is actually a hot pillow with herb to put on my chest) however I felt something is missing! Ah...it is the lymphatic drainage massage which I had experience before from Kanebo's facial. Hence I went to Kanebo to look at their facial menu.

Facial Treatment
RM98 for Revitalising Facial Treatment (60min)
Rm128 for Skin Brightening Facial Treatment (60min)
RM168 Impress IC Facial Treatment (75min)
RM180 Impress Total Rejuvenating Treatment (90min)
RM48 Kanebo Intenstive Eye Treatment (20min)

Body Massage
RM98 Stress Relief Treatment (60min)
RM168 Hot Stone Treatment (90min)

So if today you buy Kanebo basic facial 3 times (RM98 x 3) is RM294, can get one free facial (same price with the facial you bought) and one free eye treatment , plus special treat of one time free of Hot Stone body treatment ! Tempting right ?

Only RM73.50 for each facial ( 4 facials in total) , free 1 eye treatment (worth RM48) and 1 hot stone body massage (worth RM168) !

BUT

Wait there are more, I found out !!!

Don't buy first, let me tell you more !!!

Stay tune, going to blog about it more !!!

Happy International Women's Day!

This is the day , all of us as woman should remember and celebrate !

Not because its our 308 Malaysian General Election anniversary ( 8 March 2008) but because this is the day that women from the past have continued fighting for the interest of women and here we are today to pledge to continue to fight to promote and create respect, protection and fulfillment of equal rights for women. To work towards the elimination of discrimination against women, and to bring about equality between women and men!

How can we fight for interest of women ?

Be it you are a MAN or WOMAN

(Let me share a few ways which some of you might or might not agree!)

1)Join an non-governmental organisation (NGO) which champion for women rights. You join because you believe for a cause !

For example: Women's Aid Organisation (WAO) , All Women's Action Society Malaysia (AWAM), Sisters in Islam (SIS) amongst the others which are in the
The Joint Action Group for Gender Equality (JAG), which are also they are under the umbrella of National Council of Women's Organizations, Malaysia (NCWO)

2) Be a volunteer

You can always be a volunteer for any NGOs , whether you are a doctor, lawyer, tailor, housewife or babysitters.

3) Contribute your money

If you do not have time to be a volunteer due to your busy working lifestyle, then financial assistant will be the next best choice!

4) If at all , you have no intention to join a NGO, then be a caring and responsible citizen. Which mean, you report when you see domestic violence (abuse) !

Violence against a woman is a crime, and a violation of her human rights.

"Be brave for the truth and afraid that judgment day will come one day" !

5) Be an extraordinary WOMAN yourself!

Be it at home, work or social circle, always equipped ourselves (WOMEN!!!) with knowledge ( not necessary formal education only !! Beauty knowledge too !!!!), skills ( any skills includes cooking, cleaning and nagging ?) and confidence ! And always believe that we are as equal as any man out there !

Mother Teresa!

Sirimavo Bandaranaike was elected to be the Prime Minister back in 1960 in Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon) according to Wikipedia which is 31 years ago. And I hope to see very soon that a woman Prime Minister to be elected in Malaysia !

And meantime let's continue fight for

1) Equal treatment and respect towards man and woman in all places!

2)30 percent of women in positions at decision-making levels!!

3) Equal work opportunity; salary and promotion!

We are equal because we 2 eyes, 1 nose and 1 mouth just like you!

Happy Women's Day my dear women readers !

You are the BEST!!!

NOTD : M.A.C Cream Asiatique, The Red Blood

Another nail polish from my M.A.C Nail polish collection which I really adore!!

M.A.C Cream Asiatique

I named it The Red Blood , because it looks just like our blood !!

So do you like this colour ?

I have stated the pros and cons of MAC nailpolish for the past NOTD's post, and I think that while MAC Nail polish are great, it has just too little varities compare to OPI or Essie ..

And definitely I am wearing this for the Chinese new year !

I have red blouse, red shoes (yes the Clarks one!!) , red bag (which my bf bought for me last Valentine's Day. Now I'm getting a new bag, but I dont think will be red!) and now i have red nail polish to finish the look!! I must stress that I do not want to have red eyes disease ~~

Clarks Warehouse Sale from 15-16 Jan 2010

Terms and Conditions

Credit cards are accepted with purchases above RM200. Only applicable for Visa & Mastercard

Customers are advised not to bring large bags to this event and to park your cars at Avenue K

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I went there around 1pm after lunch to check out, to our horror the queue is until the hotel main door at ground floor, while the warehouse sale is conducted at the 1st floor ballroom!

It's crazy to see the queue, because its a working day and not weekends !

And saw those coming out from sales, carrying like 3-6 boxes of shoes!

Was thinking of myself, really that cheap ?

Wait wait wait ~

Lucky I'm smart enough to come with flat shoes or else die die !!!

Mini report on the warehouse

The price ranges shoes for ladies (since I don't check out the men's & children one) is RM90 - Rm180 (most expensive if of course the Bombay Light which I nearly bought! I remember children shoes have 40% off and they are so pretty!!!) Sizes and colours of many shoes are limited as most have already been grabbed by the early birds.. There are not many Sales assistants around to help, for women there are 3 sections, I saw only 2 persons is handling each section. And you might need to take like 15-30 mins of yelling (or using your beauty) before you can get the attention of the SA because has too much people to entertain, poor him!

The choices are not too many, I guess each sections only carries like 10 different designs. The price list is pasted on the walls, but since my hp/camera was in my handbag, in the plastic bag that was sealed when we entered into the sales area, not able to take pictures of the price list.

Payment wise, its quite fast , there are few counters for cash payment while 2 counters for credit card payment (RM200 and above). It was in their announcement that there is no exchange policy of sizes, colours and design therefore we should double the shoes before paying .

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The first Clarks that I ever owned! RM170 ( NP: RM276)

Clarks Women's Bahama Beach Pep Toe Wedge in Red Cherry Blossom

Hehe, yes I have very small feet, okay lah smallest feet !

Very comfy !!!

Will be wearing it for the 1st day of CNY!!!!

Jeng jeng jeng ~~~ since red brings luck!

Hope the lady luck bless me that So when go to get angpau gambling can get big $$
