My K-Palette Workshop with Noriko Imura & Giveaway

Last week I attended K-Palette Blogger workshop by Noriko Imura who is the official makeup artist for K-Palette in Japan. She flew in all the way from Japan just to conduct this workshop, awesome right! I remembered seeing K-Palette brand for the first time back in early February my Japan's trip and I was actually really attracted to their best seller i.e their liquid eyeliner named i.e 1 Day Tattoo eyeliner. My sis & I are a big fan of eyeliner, so we bought the eyeliner right away but I forgot to take it out and use. And good news is K-Palette has recently entered into Malaysian market and I was really excited to attend the workshop to know more about the brand.

Ms Caryn representive from K-Palette Malaysia is a really cheerful lady and she made a short warm welcoming note.

Check out her pink ombre hair, very cool!

Yukiko was the model of the day , she came with bare face but her skin is so clear & fair! Envy max!

Noriko-san started to do a makeup demo on Yukiko by introducing K-Palette Zero Kuma Concealer.

K-Palette Zero Kuma Concealer comes in 3 shades i.e Natural Beige, Yellow Beige and Orange Beige. We are advised to use shade 01 , Natural Beige as it will suits our Malaysian girl skintone unless you are very fair.

K-Palette Zero Kuma Concealer (RM44.90) claims that it can instantly cover dark eye circles and main skin moisture at the same time. This is because it is formulated with moisturizing Beauty Essence ingredients such as Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Soluble Collagen and Rose Water.

Noriko-san said the best way to apply concealer on our eyes area is using our third fingers to dab a few dots around our eyes and use our fouth or ring finger to blend it, and we can even apply it (lightly) on our eyelid as eye base. The reason why we are always asked to use our fourth or ring finger to apply eye product is because this finger has the less strengh compared to others and we do not want to end up pulling our skin too hard which will then cause fine lines.

I can see Yukiko's eyes areas instantly brighten up with K-Palette Zero Kuma Concealer.

The K-Palette Zero Kuma Concealer texture comes in liquid form but it is kinda thick, so we only need to use a little bit to apply. It seems to give quite a good coverage without looking too heavy.

Next, Noriko-san introduced K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow (RM55.90) which comes in 2 colours, i.e Chocolate Brown & Honey Brown

This K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow has one end with liquid & another end with powder eyebrow

Description:

Liquid Eyebrow - This is a waterproof eyebrow liner& has the colour that is deep enough to conceal the areas of our eyebrow. Use it to draw a beautiful line along the edge of eyebrow. Claims to be smudge proof, resistance to sebum, water & perspiration.

Powder Eyebrow - The powder is able to cling tighly onto the skin. Its gold pearl allows easy creation of soft looking fluffy eyebrow. Its glittering powder tightly coats our eyebbrow and will gives it our eyebrow a natural look

Colour used here is : Chocolate Brown

So I tried and see whether it is waterproof or smudge proof. The result is that its really waterproof & smudge proof.

I personally like this K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow very much because both ends deliver different results , for a softer natural look I would use the powder & if I want to create a more define eyebrow shape I would use the liquid brow liner.

Another tips that Noriko-san shared during the workshop is that , the eyebrow powder can be used as colour eyeshadow as well.

Honestly I am quite fail when comes to eyebrow as I only know how to fill in the eyebrow gap with my eyebrow pencil after my makeup artist shaped it for me. Well Noriko-san said that we can create kawaii and sexy look by changing the way we draw our eyebrow shape. And this is something I am looking forward to learn!

She said now Japanese eyebrow trend is everyone is having kawaii eyebrow shape and in order to eyebrow shape, the arch of the eyebrow must be drawn in between the end of the eyeball and end of the eyelid ( as circled in red above). And to have sexy & mature look, just move the arch towards the end of the eyelid.

This is an after picture of Yukiko's eyebrow.

And if at all you don't know how to draw the eyebrow, then just opt for the K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow Mascara (RM42.90) where this is super easy to use as you can just comb through your eyelashes to fill in the gap. It comes in 2 colours, Camel Brown & Natural Brown.

K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow Mascara is an innovative brush which is designed to sculpt our eyebrow hair for a perfect finish and create a natural looking.

It's strong resistant to water, perspiration and sebum. And its claimed to be long lasting and easy to be removed with lukewarm water.

Noriko-san also showed us K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow Pencil 24H (49.90), where it comes with 3 colours Camel Brown, Natural Brown & Grayish Brown. This is also strong resistant to water, perspiration and sebum as well.

And yes finally she showed us the K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner 24H (RM59.90) which comes in 2 shade, one is super black another is deep black.

This K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner comes in long lasting polymer forms, promise smudge-free resistant to water, perspiration & sebum.
It's important for me to make sure the eyeliner promises what it says, i.e waterproof & smudge proof and I did a test to find out!

As you can see the eyeliner is really water resistant but when I try to rub it (considering sometimes I rub my eyes), the colour did come off a bit but it did not smudge horribly. And looking at the both tests, it passed my standard of requirement :) And I read that e K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner can be easily removed by lukewarm water.

After pic on Yukiko

This K-Palette 1Day Lash Mascara has been newly launhed in Japan & not yet available in Malaysia. I hope to try this when it is launched in Malaysia!

Look at the brush head!

The slight curve V shape mascara will give volumising effect while the thin brush shape will gives lengtening effect. is used.

Yukiko's beautiful eye makeup

Before & after picture of Yukiko. I like how the Noriko-san made a natural makeup that flatters Yukiko's features, simply beautifu especially the eyes makeup!

So at the event, I took the opportunity to had a makeover by Noriko Imura!

I absolutely love the eyes makeup, very natural and the concealer looked pretty awesome in concealing my very serious dark eyes circle.

My full look after makeover - this is so far one of my favourite makeover!

Finally a group pics of bloggers with Noriko Imura!

Overall, I am glad to attend this workshop as I found out K-Palette has a few good products that I'm looking forward to try such as the Kuma Concealer, 2Way Eyebrow, Eyebrow Mascara & 1Day Lash Mascara besides its best selling 1-Day Tattoo Eyeliner. It was really an intereting & educational workshop eventhough Noriko don't really speak English but all thanks to the translator that the company has arranged for us, she translated each steps clearly :)

Just to let you all know, K-Palette brand focuses on eye makeup products only and at this moment in Malaysia, we have Eyeliner, Eyebrow & Concealer and the mascara which has been newly launched in Japan will be available soon in Malaysia!

FOTD : My attempt to re-create Japanese model Mai Miyagi's look

Most Japanese girls are blessed with fair & good skin. And I think not only their genetic is good but they really took the effort to take care of their skin! I remembered when I was in Japan earlier this year, I saw not only young woman but even middle aged woman or grandma busy buying skincare & makeup as well as if they are buying groceries. Be it beauty counters or drugstore, it is always full of ladies busy browsing beauty items from day to night! No girls will actually go out without makeup basically! And now I know it's genuine when Japanese brands clainmed they sell x number milion of product in Japan every minute, because Japanese are obessed with beauty products!

If you have realised in the pictures I posted here, I used to like very heavy eyes makeup until recently I like to go natural makeup because it is so easy to match with any outfit! And I always like how Japanese can still looked pretty in their simple nude makeup! Nude here would means the makeup we put on will only enchance face feature & it would look as if its natural beauty.

And this is a picture of Mai Miyagi (a Japanese model) looked in the Kiss Me fake eyelashes packaging and I really like how she look here. So here I am challenged to re-create this look and mainly will be using Kiss Me products !

Let's see what prodocts I used to re-create this look!

Products used in the makeover:-

Face
-Shu Uemura Nobara cream cover stick foundation in 554
-Maybelline Angelfit Perfect concealer in Natural Beige
-Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Creamy Cheeks - #03 Peach Pink

Eyes
-Lavshuca Melting Eyes OR-1 palette
-Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner N #01 Jet Black
-Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara
-Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Styling Eyelash (Rich)
-Kiss Me Heroine make Eyelash Fixer

Lips
-Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Pure Color Gloss #03 Skinny Pink

The highlight of the look is the eyes, here I'm featuring Kiss me Heavy Rotation Styling Eyelash (RM42.90) and I'm trying them for the first time. The one I'm having here is RICH type which I think it would gives my eyelashes a richer look.

Close-up look

The eyelashes is soft & easy to wear.

Nude eye makeup would means no fancy & vibrant colour. Here I am using one of my favourite eyeshadow pallete which I bought in Japan earlier this year i.e Lavshuca in OR-1 as it has this beautiful orange eyeshadow that will brighten up my eyes instantly with other matching beige and brown colour! If you ever going to go Japan, do chck out Lavshuca at any drugstore , the eyeshadow quality is as good as Lunasol one but cost less than RM50 for a palette!

The eyelashes really makes my eyes stand out and I like how it looked more awake!

This look is what I supposed to create.

Yay,this is my attempt to create Japanese model Mai Miyagi's look!

What do you think?

Do you think I succeed in re-creating Mai Miyagi's look?
