Qualities a man should have before you want to consider dating or marriage!

Hi people, Happy Malaysia Independent Day ! Hope you enjoy your holiday today and well I have something to share! 

I watched a video few days ago and it makes me think a little bit more about man & woman relationship and I decided to blog! Well I know I don't usually write about relationship but I have seen so many of my close friends went on dating , got married and divorce later on. And of course there are some lucky one managed to live happily ever after (till now). The one who are successful in relationship are those who managed to find their Mr Right! But how do we know whether the person is the RIGHT man to date & get marry with in the first place? For me besides the feeling Love, there are few things that a man MUST possess before a girl can consider dating or even marrying him?

1) LOYALTY

Speaking of loyalty, one sure can relate it to dog. People often said dog is man's best friend simply because  they are trustworthy & they don't betray! And I'm sure all of us don't want to be betray & want a man that can be trusted. So if today a man can't even be loyal to his girlfriend, how can he even qualified to be a husband. If he has cheated once, I am pretty sure he will cheat soon because behaviour are hard to change! 

2) HARDWORKING

Have you heard before this Chinese proverb, if you are hardworking, you definitely would not die of hunger. Survey in the past has showed that many argument which lead to divorce cases happened because of problem araises from financial issues. Yes money is not everything but without money you can do anything at all right? So if the man is hardworking in earning money for the family, this also shows also that he has sense of responsibility & love towards the family. 

3) Patience 

I must admit I am someone who is always in the rush and have no patience for many things. But when comes to relationship, I think patience is very important simply because it is not easy for 2 people from different background to come together and live together under one roof as husband and wife. Each of us has different brought up and it really takes patience to discover & adapt the differences. I remembered reading that there are couples in US divorce because of the irreconcilable difference over how the toothpaste tube was squeezed. If only they are patience enough to listen & talk to each other, and maybe have each toothpaste tube? And more importantly when a man is patience he is usually not bad tempered and able to listen and talk it out! And I think this is one of qualities that are really lacking in men in these day! 

4) NOT SELFISH

This is the kinda of people I cannot live with. Be it friend or boyfriend. I have met so many people like that, they just want to come and take advantage and would not share anything and I have bid goodbye to people like this. I am a strong believer that in any relationship we have with anyone, we have to share not only the good time but also bad times together,  because life is not always happy & beautiful. And when a man & woman get together, they share a relationship together. So if a man is a selfish person and all he bothers is only about himself then he don't even deserve a friend or girlfriend because he can't be bother to share his love with the other half and all he wants is he himself. And I'm sure you have heard of this proverb before "No man is an island" ? Well it simply means No one is self-sufficient; everyone relies on others, therefore one cannot be a selfish one.


5) GENTLEMAN

I don't expect any man to do the above in today's world. But speaking in today context, a gentleman should be one who can understand the need and worries of a woman. Simple things like making sure that we enter the house after sending us home &  helping us to carry our handbag in public especially when now snatch thief is a huge and rampant problem in Malaysia. And of course as a gentleman, one should never be petty and calculative over small things & never lay his hands on a woman!

All these sounds easy? 

Well at least to me these are the basic qualities a man must possess before one can consider dating or marrying him. Of course the more good qualities that a man possess, the better it is! But nobody is perfect in the world and so end of the day, we gotta give & take ...and end of the day that man you love would be the perfect one in your eyes! 

Watching what the girl said about her friend's boyfriend in the video above, I think he has committed one big & unforgivable mistake, that he used to hit his girlfriend! This is something I do not tolerate & accept and I honestly think her friend should calm down & think whether this is the man he want to get marry with and live with for the rest of her life.

A life partner (i.e husband) is someone we going to live with the rest of our life. He must be someone we can live with (attitude & behaviour) and can't live without (his love) at the same time.

Un-boxing and Reviewing Fabulous Finds August Beauty Box

Days before Hari Raya Aldilfitri, I received a surprise pink box package at home via Nationwide courier service ! And it's the Fabulous Finds Beauty Box that was launched last month! 

So here I'm going to un-box my August Fabulous Finds Beauty Box to show you & review it!

Fabulous Finds shipped out their beauty box to their customers every 15th of every month via Nationwide Courier service and I received it 2 days after that. I must said I'm very happy with the Nationwide courier service because the courier man took extra effort to called me to pick up at my gate when my door bell don't work and that my pink  Fabulous Finds Beauty Box came in excellent condition!

It is nice to see Fabulous Finds (FF) took extra effort to put our monthly beauty box in another bigger pink box to protect it before sending it out to us. And I do treasure the pink box & now using it to store my overloading cosmetics!

A lightweight moisturizing cream with high performance botanical and plant oils, to minimise the appearance of fine lines. 

To be honest, I have tried any of the Jurlique products yet. I don't know why and well this is a good chance for me to give a try! And 15ml is almost half a size of original size, good to try for few good time!

Olive Hand Moisturising Cream 10ml - worth RM8.60

Combining natural plant extracts with extra virgin olive oil and spring water, this hand cream will help hydrate skin, revitalising its appearance.

I'm a big fan of hand cream and I read that it is made from extra virgin olive oil and I am pretty excited to try this! Going to put this in handbag :D

Wella System Professional Repair Shampoo (worth RM 7.80) & Mask (worth RM 15)

This shampoo and mask intensively restores damaged hair and protects against further damaged. 

I have tried this before and I kinda like this, definitely will bring this when I'm going away for a short trip or holiday!

Lanvin Jeanne Couture Eau de Parfum 2ml vial - worth RM6.00

I kinda like this perfume, its very fruity. It's now in my handbag :D

Overall review : I am quite happy with August Fabulous Finds Beauty Box. I would say with RM 35 subscription , we are getting RM 221.90 worth of products + 2 discount vouchers. I like the product choice which included from high end to niche brand and most of the stuffs included here I have not tried before. Not just that, I like how the delivery is punctual and packaging is prettily packed in pink too! So I am total recommending this to everyone who loves receiving beauty surprise at doorstep!

NEW: Bubbles & Bites in Highlands Hotel, Genting

Remembered last week I posted that I was in Genting and I tried a total of 16 mooncakes flavours (click here to read), so after that we were brought to this new place names Bubbles & Bites. I heard of this place prior to this from JQ as she wanted to suggest this place for lunch when I met her up in Genting but end up we are at another place because I was too lazy to walk over. Ah so finally managed to try this new place! 

We were told that Bubbles & Bites was opened a while back in July 2012 and it is a casual continental cottage cuisine with a rustic concept that specialize in pizza and pastas.

Fresh salad bar at the counter! 

The fridge! Everyone surrounding it because it has really cool selection of miniature bottles of sparkling wines, alcoholic sodas, juices, soft drinks, beers and wines from all around the world & yay we get to pick what we want to drink! 

Bottled fruit juices, these are imported from New Zealand. Very healthy and delicious!

I picked up this cute bottle of Australian Bundaberg Root Beer to try, it is not as gassy as I thought it would be.

 And if you are not a big fan of juice & root beer there is alcoholic beverages served here. Some of them took the opportunity to try some of these.

Our starter! It have garden fresh baby romaine lettuce, garlic croutons, egg, beef bacon with creamy house caesar dressing and topped with smoked salmon. 

Al Dente Spaghetti -RM19.00

Cooked with a wine, garlic, tomato & seafood. I love how the seafood was generously spread here & it tasted good.

 8 hour slow braised lamb shank - RM23

Honestly I'm not a lamb person so I didn't try but I was told that this was really good as only the bones left after picture was taken! For a 8 hour slow braised lamb shank , this is only RM23! 

Pizza Carbonara - RM21

This has creamy base with button mushrooms, chicken ham, spring onions, garlic and parmesan cheese.

 Home-style Macaroni & Cheese -RM15

This is one of our favourite because the cheese is literally flooding each & every macaroni! Very sinful I know but very smooth & rich in taste!  

 Isle of Capri - RM21

Has rich tomato base with sliced turkey ham, mushrooms, spanish red onion, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, grilled red capsicum and plump anchovies.

 Thai Red Curry Seafood -RM21.00

Thai red curry sauce base, tiger prawns, marinated calamari, mussels, mushrooms & lychees with mozzarella cheese. There is no secret that I love Thai food but I think this red curry flavour does not give enough kick!

Lam Lee Burger - RM20

Lam Lee and Ramlee sounds familiar? This is the signature classic Malaysian street burger that we all loved! 

This burger can feed 2 persons I think!  

 Peri Peri Chicken Wings - RM16 for 2 pairs of chicken wings

Of all things I tried, this is my favourite I must said! Must try , very appetizing.. can't go wrong with Peri Peri sauce! We actually re-ordered this because it's so delicious!

We also have some Desserts after that!

Laneige Malaysia openedcounters in Sabah and Sarawak

Good news to Laneige's fans who are living in East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak) as now they do not need to fly in to Peninsular or t trouble their friends to help them buy Laneige products as recently Laneige has opened their counters at Sabah and Sarawak after it's first operating in Peninsula Malaysia 6 years. 

Laneige Malaysia had opened its counter at The Spring, Kuching in March this year and also recently at One Borneo in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The counter has the new concept is based on the water drop concept, a reflection of the brand’s underlying theme, which is water.
