I got Hercules to send my groceries home! Special promotion for readers!

I have been shopping in Tesco Malaysia Ampang branch ever since I moved to Cheras few years ago. Though I enjoyed shopping there because it was spacious but seriously it was overcrowded and difficult to find parking especially on weekends.  

On weekday crowd are lesser but then my boyfriend is working and he could not go with me, which means I got no Hercules to carry my shopping bags! Even I got the time & energy to go and carry those shopping bags home.. I cannot help but not to think how bad the security nowadays in Malaysia.  

So end up I only got to shop with my boyfriend once a week for our groceries . I only can buy few days food supplies if I am cooking at home because fresh vegetables don’t last too many days.

 

When I knew Tesco Malaysia is launching online shopping at their website, I was really happy because it would do doorstep delivery!

 Looked really simple, only 5 steps for my shopping stuffs to be sent to my doorstep!

So I hop on to their website to check them out, first thing on my mind whether my area was covered in their delivery route. Checked , my area was covered!

 Next of course to register an account with Tesco Malaysia website at eshop.tesco.com.my

There are wide range of products to choose from all nicely put in different categories.

 

I even found that the price in the website is the same as in the store, including promotion items and it also show when promotion period will end!  YAY… thumb up for that because I was worried I might miss their in store promotion if I shop online! Also I can Collect Tesco Clubcard points, same as in store!

It was pretty simple to do shopping at the website and in fact I could actually plan my spending… because each item I added into the cart would be shown on the right tab. 

In total I picked up 21 items, in my list I need to replenish our toilet papers, fabric softener, drinks & biscuits. I did picked some green vegetables too.   

Personally I think when I was shopping at the supermarket itself, I always end up forgetting my shopping list and sometimes overspend my budget because I only get to know the total price of my shopping cart at the cashier. 

 

There are delivery slots available in 2-hour delivery windows. These are available from 10am to 10pm, 7 days a week. Each delivery slot has a maximum capacity, so place you order well in advance to guarantee the slot you want. I read that we can order our shopping up to 3 weeks in advance…wow! Can plan everything ahead!

You just need to pay RM10 delivery fee for everything to be delivered to your doorstep!

 Once I picked the delivery slot, it is reserved for 2 hours. And even it confirmed, I still can edit/change or cancel my order anytime until 23:00 on the day before it is due to be delivered!    

If you see above I have picked delivery time between 8-10pm and then I realized the next morning that night my boyfriend wanted to go for a movie so I try my luck calling their customer service at 1300-13-1313 and asked for a change of time. The customer service agent who picked up the call was really polite & told me he would call me back within 10 mins. And yes he called back and told me he has re-arrange and my shopping stuffs would be sent in the afternoon around 2-4pm instead! Thumb up for being so efficient and professional in handling my request though it was really last minute.

 At around 3pm, Tesco Malaysia van arrived at my home. Very punctual!

2 Hercules from Tesco Malaysia sent my shopping… while the princess me sit at home and wait for them to arrive!

They actually brought everything in my house and I just need to stand there enjoy watching! Aiks… car porch area is in a mess right now as renovation is on going after house was broke in last week!

Tesco staff explained to me that some of the items are out of stock and they brought subtitute alternative brand for me to pick where I can choose to accept or reject. 

 It is kinda cool to see that Tesco Malaysia staff brought the portable credit card paying device! So convenient!

Do note that only card payment is acceptable (be it credit card or debit card) as long it is Visa or Master issued by banks in Malaysia. I am pretty okay with this because I prefer payment by card as I think it is troublesome to pay using cash & of course for safety reason too I don’t carry too much cash in my purse nowadays!

This is my shopping haul from Tesco online store! Those in blue are frozen/chill products (for eg hotdogs).

Wahaha I picked a lot of heavy stuffs to be delivered to my house, watermelon, fabric softer and packet & bottle drinks! Fuiyoh…. sweat when I was moving all these to the kitchen! Lucky it was just few steps away!

Overall I like the grocerry online shopping concept because so convenient and Tesco does carry a lot of brands for consumers to choose. And this kind of service is perfect for anyone and if you are a pregnant lady or if you have old grandparents at home or if you are living in an apartment, where carrying those grocerry using stairs is a hell! I knew it because I stayed in an apartment before and I hate doing grocerry shopping everytime because got to walk up the apartment carrying those bags. Review of Elizabeth Arden Prevage® Clinical Lash + Brow Enhancing Serum

I have been using 2 weeks before I post up this review, I applied Elizabeth Arden Prevage® Clinical Lash + Brow Enhancing Serum by running through the tip of the brush on my lash line just like how I usually apply my liquid eyeliner. The texture was in liquid form, so just a stroke of it is sufficient and it dry up pretty quickly without leaving a trace! Although this serum does not come cheap but with one stroke of application every night, this tube can last for quite a while! 

One thing I need to mentioned here is that this serum does not sting or irritate my eyes area at all when I applied it compare to some of the brands out there which I have tried, as you all know our skin at our eyes are really sensitive/fragile and we need to use product that are really gentle on our eyes (especially I discovered I have a bad habit rubbing my eyes when I sleep!)

After 2 weeks of application, I do feel my lashes are stronger (no more fall out when I remove my eyes makeup) , also I can see my lashes visibly looked darker, longer and thicker than before! Oh do you know you can apply this serum on your eyebrow too, well I am going to give a try and apply on my eyebrow, especially the front which was quite sparse!

My house was broken into last Sunday !

 My house was being broken into last Sunday when we were out, neighbour went back to their hometown for holidays..The thief climbed in from the roof and we lost 2 laptop, handphone, watches and some jewelry...

I am so sad because all my pictures especially the photos from my recent trip to Thailand was gone and those events pictures which I took and most have been edited ...waiting to be post is now gone.. I guess I only can post those that I managed to save on the draft :(

Although we have reported to police, apparently more than 5 house was broken within this month and we really suspect the renovation guy at our neighbour house because the thief knew the house structure so well.

Yes I had a dog at home but the thief climbed in from the roof opening so now we are starting renovation to close it and put an extra layer of protection...

Thanks to my sister, she offered her laptop to me so that I could do my work and thanks to those who leave me a consoling messages in the facebook too..

The vital capacity of an athlete decides the performance. Practise some "Laughing" exercises before any sports to relax your body, and this could help you earn an amazing performance. Therefore, "Laughing" exercise is strongly recommended as a training preparation before undertaking any sports.  

7. Internal Body Massage 

"Laughing Treatment" is a kind of exercise that could massage all of the internal organs, accelerate oxygen transmission and provide general wellbeing for the entire body. The result of laughing treatment suggests the idea of massaging your colons and speeding up blood circulation, and granting you a better bowel movement.

 "Laughing Yoga" helps artists and singers to boost up their vital capacity, enlarge the diaphragm and increase the practice of abdominal muscle. This laughing treatment could help you to achieve a total relaxation of body, mind and soul. This could also prevent stage fright and help to increase self-confidence.

Majority of people exercise for a whole body muscle training. However, one could not train their face muscle except by practising Yoga. Laughing Yoga is classified under Yoga family and it is absolutely suitable for face muscle training that will give you an ample facial expression. When we are laughing, we inhale more and more oxygen that will help our face glow with an energetic look.

"Laughing" can integrate crowds and improve relationship between each other. The members from Laughing Association are equipped with an open heart and mind, and we care for each other. Participating and interacting once in this association will help to attract interactions with many friends. Until today, the relationship between our members is as intimate as family and friends, we know each other and we share with each other our happiness and sadness. People coming from different backgrounds are gathered here for one purpose --"Laughing"

11. Strengthen self-confidence 

When you are able to spontaneously raise your hand to the blue sky and laugh with a bunch of good friends in the public, imperceptibly you are gradually removing your self-constraint. As time goes by, you will be able to get on well with others, become more open-minded and more active. When people first join "Laughing Association", they are worried about how others will perceive them and they lack spirit of participation, and are reluctant. However, after overcoming the transition period, you will be able to open your heart and view this world from a wider angle. Hence, your long absent confidence will be restored, and you will be more mature exerting greater leadership.  

12. Aids to Our Society

Numerous research reports indicated that a pessimist is more susceptible to hypertension, heart diseases and even cancers. Depression turns off the immune system. The most common factors are bankruptcy of family values and individual isolation. It is a common phenomenon in western countries but now spreading to eastern countries as well. The Laughing Association helps members to be independent from antidepressants within a short period of time; the most essential reason being that they can recover from depression is because they felt love from other members. "Laughing Association" has gone from being a global to being a a small community, where everyone feels a strong sense of belonging and togetherness from each other. "Laughing Association" is now expanding to be known as "Laughing Family".

Let's try Meet Fresh Taiwanese Dessert

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to my Muslim readers! What are you guys in this long weekends breaks!  Well I had a pretty good time indulging in dessert! Ah.. I love dessert and you know how warm our Malaysia weather can be so warm and cool dessert is really perfect to chill us out!

The first time I came across Meet Fresh was in Times Square and I was really glad when they opened their branch in Pavilion last year cause this is my favourite hang out mall!

A little background of Meet Fresh

Meet Fresh is established in 2007 with millions invested to create a six-star comfortable dining experience for its patrons, “Meet Fresh” is a Taiwanese dessert chain that prides itself on preserving the authentic taste of yesteryears when food was handmade by the sellers and ingredients were of the highest quality and fresh. The taro dessert is one of its notable bestsellers.

 

Well last Sunday I was invited to Meet Fresh High Tea press conference at their Pavilion branch to sample the different types of "Meet Fresh" desserts .

This is a part of Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs’ (MOEA) effort in reaching out to neighboring countries, its Bureau of Foreign Trade jointly with “Meet Fresh” invited members of the media and bloggers. This high tea session enabled us to have an authentic taste of Taiwan’s delicacies and other wholesome treats.

These are 4 Meet Fresh best sellers; namely Taro Balls No.4, Meet Fresh Signature Herbal Jelly, Tofu Pudding with Peanut and Little Taro Balls in White Ground Tea.

If you are first time visiting "Meet Fresh" these are the 4 must have, let me tell you why and share with you which is my favourite!

 Meet Fresh Signature Herbal Jelly - RM6.90

The word Signature is not there for nothing because it is a must have and I do really like this! This is one of my favourite and I tell you why!

This is a combination of herbal jelly blended ice together with herbal jelly, taro balls and cream. And if you are not much of a cream (milk person) you can always opt it out! In case you don't want a cold dessert, this has a hot version too.

I really like how the herbal jelly ice is finely shaved & the taro balls (made from yam) are really chewy! The cream milk just add more sweetness in this. This is a sweet & refreshing dessert for me! Highly recommended!

p/s: I want to have this now by just looking at the picture, yum yum...

 Taro Balls No.4 - RM6.50

I think it is called No 4 because it has 4 ingredients inside; i.e taro balls, red bean, sago pearl & taro (aka yam) on shaved ice.

I like the yam here, it was cooked to perfection! Well if you are yam lover, this is the one you should order!

 

 Tofu Pudding with Peanuts - RM5

This is the tofu pudding aka taufu-fah with peanuts & syrup on top of shaved ice. Overall this dessert is not too sweet & tofu pudding texture is smooth.

This is definitely one of the healthier dessert as it is not too sweet & the tofu which is made from soya bean is known to help in skin whitening!

Honestly not one of my favorite here because personally I prefer my dessert to be sweet & shaved ice to be a little bit finer....I have sweet tooth  >.<

 

Little Taro Balls in White Ground Tea - RM5.90

Oh I really love this. The drink is really refreshing and the little taro ball is really nice to chew! Best drink to quench your thirst on sunny day!

Oh just before we left, the manager dropped by and offered us to try Mango Supreme (RM17.90). A dessert that available exclusively in Pavilion !

Generous amount of mango spread on top of sweetened ice & cream. And it is crowned with a scoop of yam ice-cream. 

The portion is really quite big & good be shared between 2-3 persons! Well if I am going to order this again, I want to ask for additional taro balls topping on this for only Rm1.50... ah I just can't get enough of the taro balls... you can tell that by now... how addictive is that!

Meet Fresh located in 6th in Pavilion at the centre court, next to Bosphorus Turkish Fine Dining Restaurant or just exactly opposite Tonkatsu! This is place is nice to hang out after a tiring shopping trip! Sofa is comfortable, there is ample walking area and best of all there is WIFI. I would personally choose to sit next to glass partition as I enjoy looking down what is happening down there.
