REN Mother's Day Workshop in Tangs Pavilion

Received this email from Tangs last week but just read it today !

So I called up Tangs around 10am, shock when Tangs customer service personnel has no idea on this workshoand started passing my calls around. And found out REN SA not at work yet!!

So spoke to Sharon, Tangs Customer Service Manager, she aware of the workshop but has no ideas of the details. Fortunately she is kind enough (after hearing my frustrated voice) to check and called me back. The only thing she found out (since SA still not at work yet!) is to buy RM100 voucher(fully redeemable) and attend the workshop. Door gift RM150.

Only 1 hour later REN SA called me to tell me the full details. This is hand massage workshop and door gift is not full size but rather its travel set size according to the SA, and there are 2 sessions available.

But I think I'll give it a miss !

Review : ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer

I got this quite a well ago for around RM10 (although this is only $3 in US), well still very cheap for a eye primer. This is my first eye base. When I bought it, I have not much expectation on this item, after all price is so cheap. So I just buy to try it.

Note : This is made in China! Does this mean that this should be available in Shenzhen, then I shall be able to picked it up in Shenzhen?

The brush applicator

Yes I do feel the texture is creamy and feel a bit oily when I first applied. However after I rubbed and tapped in gently, its perfectly absorb into my skin. As if I don't have anything is applied on my eyes.

Remember to use only a little bit as we only apply on our eyes area.


Well, I am going to put ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer to test.

This is my look on one of my working day, nicely makeup because there is a function to attend at the hotel.

My eyes makeup of the day

I put a thin layer of ELF Mineral Eyeshadow before I do my makeup, note here I'm just using low range eyeshadow from I Nuovi which the colours are not lasting. However I mix a little bit of blue eyeshadow from my Lunasol's Dazzling Night pallette.

After 12 hours, my eyes makeup are still staying and does not crease at all, although I went out for lunch under the hot sun without umbrella (How bravo am I!) and attended function in the night.

So my conclusion would be , while ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer does not enhance the colour of the eyeshadow but it does a good job from preventing my eyes makeup from creasing and the colours stay on so well! A product that are worth very dollar, so girls out there, if you have not try any eye base/primer at all, this is the most affordable product for you to start with!

Pros : Make colour on eyeshadow long lasting, eye makeup does not crease , price are worth every dollar.

Cons : Cant think of any at the moment !

I am off to Hong Kong from 23-28 April 2010!

At 7am sharp on 23 April 2010, I am flying to Hong Kong with another 17 persons, thanks to AirAsia's zero fare I am going to Hong Kong again. How can I not love Air Asia when I only need to pay RM168 all inclusive insurance and baggage. So without any consideration I booked my air ticket (together with the rest of the group) a year ago !! And here I am today on the plane traveling there for my 2nd time after 2 years!

The Maps of Hong Kong, so many places to go !!!

There is no one single day in Hong Kong that you will feel boring or empty!

This time around maybe I will visit the Disneyland !

Mickey and Minnie is welcoming us !

I have been to Ocean Park on the first time of my visit.

And I will be going Shenzhen as well.

Of course going to the Spa again, the first time I was there, it was heavely !!!

The place is huge, the service was excellent and price is reasonable !

This time we are going to SLF International Spa Club (水立方国际水疗会 )!

Other than sight seeing, shopping is one of the main activities in Hong Kong !

Plenty to see, plenty to buy !

But I think I will be "controlling" this time around , compare to my crazy shopping experience in Bangkok, I HOPE!!!

I have tried this collection, love it to max!! Because its cream in texture and it's very moisturizing! And its only selling at RM95 ! One of the SA told me that all Chanel products are duty free, I wonder if this is true. Shall be checking the price in Hong Kong tomorrow and in the airport!

These are the colours I have tried. The model on brochure is wearing No.11 Legende and its really pretty ! So tempting, so so so tempting!
