Review : Lunasol 2010 Spring Makeup Collection

After the personalised makeup lesson with Mr. Tamotsu Tomiyama, I managed to do swatch
for the Lunasol 2010 Spring Makeup Collection :)

Note : Only the Nature Colour Eye Palette and Full Glamour Lips G are from the latest collection, others on the display are from the previous collections.

Check out the pictures below for the swatch!!

Nature Color Palette are selling at RM160 each at all Lunasol's counter

My say : I feel that color are less pigmented compare to the 2 palettes I owned from Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. However the colors are quite nice because the colour combination is quite nice, although some of the colors are from previous collections. I do like palette No 2 (Nature Green) and 05 (Nature Colorful) from this collection but not going to buy it because I have so many palettes at home -.-!

Lunasol Full Glamour Lips G are selling at RM88 each at all Lunasol's counters.

My say : The lipstick are sheer in color and have a bit of moisturizing effect.

Hope you girls like my swatches !

Which means promotion on top of promotion! As part of the promotion, I am entitled to have a personalised makeup lesson by the Japanese Makeup. So let the pictures do the talking :)

My bare sick looking face!

p/s: Yes my lips are cracking ! But its recovering!

The makeup artist choose this No 01 Nature Blue palette from the Nature Color Eyes Collection in Lunasol Spring Makeup 2010 Collection .

p/s: The friendly Japanese Makeup artist share with me that blue and brown are the popular color in Japan now. Hence thats the reason why he choose Nature Blue palette

This is Mr.Tamotsu Tomiyama the makeup artist from Kanebo Japan. He gave me an excellent coaching during the personalized makeup lesson. Teaching step by step, with clear instruction in English. He will do on my right hand side of my face, and let me do the left side of my self. I did pick up some precious tips from the lesson. And I do see the differences from applying his way compare to my normal ways. I can see that my skin are more flawless because he uses the technique of dabbing rather than swiping the foundation on my skin. Even in applying eyeshadow, he uses the dabbing technique and taught me how to draw my eyebrow nicely which I am suck in.

I really like the makeup technique, the eyes are bigger and brighter and my skin is flawless!

Ingredients that are being used to create the look :

Hong Kong Part 1

Finally I am going to post my Hong Kong & Shenzhen trip pictures here for the 1st time :)

Ah I have an early 7am morning flight !! Its crazy because we woke up at 3am to go to the airport!!!! But it was all worth it!

We checked in to the hotel and yes the room is so small!! Well all hotels are like that, 2 years ago I stayed in another 3stars hotel, its also so small! Nevermind lah since we only need the place to sleep and store the luggages.

We really like the hotel location because it is at Mongkok which is one of the busiest place in Hong Kong with lots of people and food! Quickly I go and grabbed my favourite curry fishball!! So yummy! Its so much spicy compare to those in Malaysia.

Then I dont know what get into me, I decided to try the fermented bean curb (smelly taufu). I never try one before back in Malaysia because its so smelly!! Ah.. I don't like it after taking one bite. Let my brother finished the rest... he thinks its so yummylicious!

Then while looking for place for lunch, we passed by this stall which was set up at the back alley. Look at the crowds! So we went it for have our lunch

I never, never order wanton noodle in KL, simply because the noodles are like rubber band. But if you are in HK, you must order their wanton noodle ! The shrimps are big and the noodles texture are so nice.

This is the Ladies Street (which is also the Tung Choi Street). Nothing here attracts me, all selling pirated goods from China only!

Well this amazed me! Haha I wonder how the girl going to wear it under her dress with the little birdie popping out!

Then we headed to Central station to go The Peak!

Here are my ticket! Well this time around I am not going to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum because I was there 2 years ago!

But I am still going to visit Bruce Lee to give him a friendly punch!

Then we proceeded to Observation Deck.

Its so cold up there, so windy!!! But the view is amazing !

Hongkong night view is spectacular! Well, it is the city of light!

This time around we managed to take nice picture of ourselves because we brought tripod along, love all the photos!!

Before I end my first day in Hong Kong, here are the famous Mango Puding from Hui Lau San !

p/s: If you all like my posting, leave me a comment ! Then I consider posting my others pictures! Hehe!

Thank you for visiting!

EOTD :Barney Smokey Eyes

A while ago one of my reader Cuna gave a daring suggestion that is to do purple smokey eyes. Well I decided to try since purple is one of my favorite colour.

Here are masterpiece, but I think still need to fine tune it.

Actually the colour did not show properly in the picture, because this picture is taken under very bright lighting. The outer end of the eyes purple colour was actually slight darker than this.

I applied

Paul & Joe Moisturizing Foundation Premier SPH 12 PA+ in 02
Lunasol Skin Fusing Powder Foundation in #OC04
ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Premier
I Nuovi Browcake (Compact Eyebrow Colour) in Oak
I Nuovi Starstruck eye shadows pallete
Lunasol Star Shower Eyes #04 Star River (AW Collection 2009)
Shu Uemura Painting Liner M Night Blue
Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara in Black
Nars in Orgasm blusher
Shiseido Macquillage Finish Powder in Translucent
Laneige Snow Crystal Melting Glossy Lipstick in Hotpink (Review here)

Wait do I look like a Barney ?

Hopefully not!

Barney quite cute also what!

Anyway, I am ready for spring anytime, with my purple eyeshadow and my pretty flower dress.

Review : Paul & Joe Lipstick N #16 Ballet Shoes

This is my first branded lipstick I owned. I got this from Paul and Joe warehouse sale a year ago. I remember I bought this lipstick simply because I love the packaging. It is very pretty with a touch of French. So princess feeling !

The texture is sheer and shimmer like in the picture. This lipstick colour which I have chosen is in Pinky apricot/ peach shade named Ballet shoes. I wonder why it is named as ballet shoes ?

I have to applied few times the lipstick to see the colour and this colour is indeed very pretty and goes with any makeup. This lipstick does have slight moisturizing effect on my lips. This is one of my favorite lipstick, because I really like how the colour turned out to be on my lips.

This lipstick colour is very suitable to match with heavy eye makeup.

So, any of you girls try Paul & Joe cosmetics before?

All Paul&Joe cosmetics are made in Japan and I think in Malaysia this brand is not really well-known. I remembered seeing their counter in Parksons Pavillion and Isetan Lot10 only. First sight of this brand is that, all their cosmetics packaging are very beautiful and classy. And looks totally pretty to be displayed on our cosmetic table.

p/s: I have a few Paul & Joe items lying in my vanity box. Maybe should take out and review it since its so pretty.
